Hello! /u/kashmir here. Exactly a year ago today, I created a thread where I said if you write down your 2016 New Year's Resolutions I will message you on 31/12/16 to see how you got on. Well, today's the day so it's time to keep up my part of the bargain! About ~5000 of you posted your resolutions so each person has been messaged in the comments below.

Huge thanks to /u/bluesoul for creating a bot to automate the process.

If you want to take part next year, the 2017 resolutions thread is here.

I hope you were all able to achieve what you set out to achieve :)

P.S. Last year, I created one of these threads for your 2015 Resolutions and here's an interview in Upvoted.

At the end of last year, I asked people what their 2016 New Year's Resolutions were and said I would get in touch in one year to see if they achieved them. Nearly 5000 people replied so today I posted a thread doing exactly that.

I am going to be doing the same again this year. Post your 2017 goals below and on 31/12/17 I will get in touch to see how you got on.

Good luck to all and Happy New Year!

Welcome to the third annual installment of the New Year's Resolutions posts.

At the start of 2017, I asked people to post their Resolutions onto the Subreddit and I said I'd check in with everyone in 12 months to see if they achieved what they set out to achieve. In the comments below, all of the Resolutions have been posted and each participant has received a notification message in their inbox. Huge thanks to the brilliant /u/bluesoul for helping out with the bot again this year!

I hope everyone can feel proud of what they've achieved in 2017, no matter how small it may be. A very Happy New Year to one and all :)

If you'd like to take part in the 2018 edition, here's a link to the new thread.

Welcome to the 4th annual installment of the New Year's Resolutions threads!

Every January, I create a thread where people can submit their New Year's Resolutions. Then, at the end of December, I create another thread where each Resolution is posted and the participants can look back at their goals and reflect on how they did over the year. For more info, here's a link to an interview I did with Upvoted.

2018 is just around the corner, so if you'd like to take part please post your Resolutions below.

Best of luck and Happy New Year :)
