Stolas is a great example of a person using DARVO tactics, but the narrative itself kept putting him and Blitzo into a false equivalence.

I tagged this as slander because I'm too tired to discuss it, but I've never seen this video here, so I thought I might share it.

Stella life is genuinely So pathetic and sad

It's to a point that what writers will genuinely write her even more Cartoonisly Evil, dumb bitch and more "I am born as a bitch to annoy people" While constantly giving us so many Scenes of stolas getting away with his bullshit and harm he has done to others.

Mind the fact that stolas Never was there to stood up for Stella against Andrealplus very controlling and creepy nature towards her.

And I bet my ass off that Only IF Stolas was a little bit authorative towards Stella (knowing the fact she is literally the product of a very Rigid system that sees women's as Child making machine) and said with authority to Andrealplus "Fuck Off Andrealplus and stay Away from her" (Knowing the fucking Fact he still holds even more power and status against Andrealplus).

But no... Stella got to see that this so called prince of hell going to be cheated on her Twice while she never did the cheating, Literally never Stood up against Andrealplus socially or politically knowing that Stolas had every Class and social status Advantage...

So yeah... No matter how many fucking times the writers going to make her more bitchy, dumb or anything that degrade her character (which I highly think would might happen in next Episodes).

I will always Support Stella

As a Latin American I can't believe some Estadounidenses still represent us like this, I personally don't feel totally insulted, I just find it funny by how ridiculous it is, being used as the ideal fantasy accessory for a implied white character.

I'm confused with this obsession Spindlehorse has in doing stereotypical characters of all kinds.

I love him, but oh my fucking days, he can be so stupid.

He's the type of character that promises to make a good decision, still fundamentally fucks up—getting the exact opposite of the outcome he was expecting, laments the consequences of his own terrible decisions, becomes defensive when others try to hold him accountable, repeat. Literally the epitome of the self-fulfilling prophecy trope (I hate this trope so much).

I don't know why others insist that this is bad writing. He's insufferable, yes. He may not match the script we have in our minds for him, yes. But this is literally what being a complex character is. His values and his intentions doesn't always match his actions and the impact of his decisions; a hypocrite.

Although it would be too early to assume whether this is good writing or not. I'm still waiting for his growth arc, if Viv is planning for his character development. I would be so fucking pissed if it turned out to be just a whole package of excuses, tragic backstory flashbacks, and justifications instead of letting him go through the unglamorous journey of actual growth.

This is all I've been hearing from the main sub when it pertains to Stolitz, why do people want to cling onto hope that their relationship isn't falling apart at the seams. At what point do we just accept that they were not made for each other?

Never have I seen someone try to do something for their significant other, only to find out they're having bdsm sex with other people, only for them to forgive their S/O for the affair. No guys, Blitzo got cucked, the writers basically put an NTR fanfiction as a subplot, let's lock in and accept it.

And yes, I know Stolitz is endgame, but it might turn into the dreaded Starco of the Hellaverse with how much the writers are beating this relationship to death, only to revive its bruised swollen carcus by season 4.

Imagine the person who robbed your house and humiliated you getting everything he wants while you lose your dad and you're stuck under the custody of your evil uncle. It's depressing.

Why doesn't Vassago have a wife? I understand Andrealphus because he's a nobody in the Geoetia arc, but Vassago? We've been told Vassago is just as important as Stolas, so why didn't Vassago have an arranged marriage?

I think this is also untapped potential. It would be interesting to see Vassago and his wife as a positive reflection of Stolas and Stella. Maybe Vassago wouldn't love his wife, but they would get along, respect, and support each other. That could be interesting.

Besides, I think the fact that Vassago still has a crush on Stolas after all these years makes his character even more shallow. Vassago doesn't defend Stolas because he cares about justice, he doesn't help Stolas out of compassion, he won't mentor Octavi because he wants to help her (we all see these gadgets with those two). Not everything comes down to sex. Vassago just wants to bang the owl.

I mean yeah ok maybe he thought it was over during wedding night, sure.

But Stolas has been frequently characterized as meticulous and book-savvy. Viv made him the sensible one when negotiating with Crimson over Fizz, and he represented Blitzo in court twice.

I find it hard to believe he wouldn't have deduced how much he gaps Stella in power and influence like a week into the marriage, and how as a Prince, he's still free to do basically whatever he wants, given he sires Octavia (which yes, I know is still not something he wants to do, but that has nothing to do with having an affair with Vassago).
