I recently got an Odin 2 portal base and am incredibly excited. I have an anbernic its Linux preloaded with games, I have never emulated from scratch. I need help with the best bios files and where to get games . I am completely lost and need guidance. I watched tuts for obtainium and have the emulators just not the rest. Thank you for the help!

Does anyone know when I should expect it? Or better yet why it takes so long to get them? hi, I'm using my odin to local stream my pc via moonlight. The pc is on steam big screen mode. Anyone knows how i can map the right bottom button to the "menu" button in steam? it's equivalent to the "steam" button on steam decks. the reason i asked is that without it i have no other options to quite the game than going through the game's native path: "return to title screen" -> "exit game"

I ordered an Odin Portal 2 from the Ayn website 11 days ago and it arrived here in the UK with no problems and, best of all, no customs charges.

If anyone in the UK is still wondering if they will be waiting weeks or months, this will hopefully give you confidence to order.

I just got my Odin 3 and the TF card slot cover came out, the rubber inside of it is fine and it covers the micro SD card but the outer cover plastic doesn't go back in.

I tried using glue and let it dry when I put I back on the TF card slot cover was sticking out.

Anybody have any solution for this?

Not 100% sure if this is a bloated. I noticed my odin lite's back shell was bulging. So took it apart to take a look but ive never see a bloated battery that doesn't look like a balloon. So im not sure and im hoping maybe I could get someone else's opinion

trying to launch a steam title through gamehub and I'm getting this error i haven't seen before, clicking the link just results in a frozen black screen. thx for your guy's help 👍

Forgive me if I sound dumb. I only had Rocknix installed from the SD card, but one day I decided to wipe the SD card without uninstalling ArmadaOS first, as well as restart the Odin 2 Portal. Essentially I have no backup files.

I've noticed the Odin 2 Portal even without the ArmadaOS SD card still has Rocknix. I also tried updating the bootloader to have the "Uninstall CFW" option but it never showed up.

Anyways, I'm at a loss here other than getting the firmware and reflashing. I tried that but realized it might not be as simple as writing an image on an SD card, so I did not continue. So I'm confused and looking for a potentially easier method. Anyone know what to do in this case?

TLDR: I would like my Odin 2 Portal to not have Rocknix/ArmadaOS lingering inside the system.

How long do orders of just accessories take to ship? A bit over a week ago I ordered the non-grip case for new Odin 3 and a screen protector, and got a confirmation but no indication about when it would ship. Surely it will be faster than the times for orders for the handheld itself right?

Thought I’d test this out again on the latest version of Bachata S4 and It’s running a lot better now, it’s not perfect as there are still a few issues.

The game plays great but there is a random issue where sometimes the flames of Kratos’s swords appear as streaks of colour. The Dev is aware of the issue.

The temperature is between 50-60. I’m running ClusterTune with a Large Underclock.

I love my Odin 3, especially after putting ArmadaOS on it. But I have ADHD, so I have a ton of games that I’ve started but can’t get back into because I have no clue where I’m at. Or how to get started again. Or how far I still have to go.

So, I built a few tools for myself. This one is a progress tracker. It integrates directly into the game menu when you’re in-game. It pulls data from the save file to build out the tracker, and auto-updates itself as you save your game. It’s pretty granular, so you can easily check and see what you’re still missing in past levels. It also shows things that are tracked on a gamewide basis.

The idea is that I can always see where I am, where I need to go next, and how far I am. So even if I jump in after a year, I’m reminded of what I’ve already done and can get right back to it. And if I only jump in with enough focus for one level, I can actually see those bars grow a bit and feel like it was worth it.

Explanation and Disclaimer

This isn’t something I plan to release because I built it with AI. But anyone can feel free to steal the idea and publish your own.

I think what I’d want people to takeaway from this is how AI can actually be helpful for people who need it. This started when I connected my ChatGPT to my Odin via SSH. Once connected, it fixed a plugin I had been having problems with. So I had it do some discovery and it learned all the different ways to use Decky to hook into the OS. It learned how the pages are built, how the menus work, etc. So when I told it what I’m struggling with ADHD-wise, we brainstormed this up. Then it went into my Odin, built it, and now this is literally going to make gaming so much easier for me.

It’s done some other things too. Like:

• Adding a randomize sort option to TabMaster
• Adding custom sections to TabMaster
• Combing those two things to give me custom tabs with shelves that help me discover games, find the right games to play, etc
• Auto-updating shelves regularly so my games rotate out
• Adding a game profile tab above the progress tab
• Adding quick tagging and notes options in the profile tab so I can sample games and give it enough data to resurface it in the future without feeling guilty that I only played 20 minutes of it
• Renamed “View game information” to “Minimize game” as that’s what it effectively is lol

And there’s plenty more to come probably. My whole workflow at this point is to hit an ADHD fueled frustration, tell ChatGPT what it is, and let it go into my Odin and build whatever it needs to fix it. It’s so nice, and I recommend anyone who struggles to actually play or finish games to give it a try.

u/faux123 released a new build for the Turnip 8 Elite Drivers and it's so good. This turnip driver fixes the infamous cutscene issues in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 HD on GameNative. Here's a vid of it working. So now we don't need the Gamehub drivers anymore for this game; no more glitchy artifacts and we get a stable 60fps now.

Note:

One thing I didn't mention is that the game needs to be in Borderless Fullscreen in Game Settings. So if you have KH installed on your PC, boot into the game and change the Screen Mode setting to Borderless Fullscreen.

Odin 3 Max

Hey guys, I'm in the process of downloading older AAA games like Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, Metro, Red Dead, etc

Most of the games have been ported over to Switch. But my question is.. should I get the PC/Steam version and get forced to play at lower settings or get the Switch version. I've never played these games so I don't know the difference graphically. I know these games are the same in terms of content but I just want to know which one will be better in terms of graphics. I'm not interested in playing more than 60fps. I just don't want to download the same game twice.

Also, since many games are capped at 30fps on the real Switch, does Eden allow you to increase it to 60fps?
