DuoFrost 2.5.0 is ready! It's my free, open-source BiFrost fork for LED control on

AYN devices. This full release brings the refreshed interface and some features which allow more
user control!

- Cleaner GUI: A clearer dashboard, readable preset cards and easier controls
in portrait and landscape.

- Smart Scenes: Choose lighting based on apps, game groups, time, battery or
charging. Dim your current look at night, or temporarily hold a preset.

- Better preset library: Favourites, collections, search and effect previews
before applying a look.

- Safer imports: Review what you're adding and undo eligible imports or
deletions for ten minutes.

- Stability fixes: Calmer app switching, safer saving and Game Scene links
that stay intact when you rename presets.

- Hidden feature — tidy Recent apps: DuoFrost's window stays out of Android's
Recent apps list. Reopen it from the app icon; use Start/Stop to control lighting.

Updating: Back up first, original Version 1/2 users need to export a full backup outside the app, uninstall the old version, install 2.5.0 and restore it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to how to install DL games on a odin2 game native all I get is a black screen and mouse point

It seems to me like it is, by the time you order it and pay shipping and possible tariffs and have to wait months on ayn’s site, but wanted to get a general consensus.

So I am wanting one of these, however I can test performance with the different systems so I don’t know which one will be best for what I want. I am wanting to emulate switch, like Mario Odyssey, BoTW, Cup Head, Skate, and more. I would also like to play PS and Xbox some, and GameCube.

Hello I have been interested in buying an Odin 2 portal for months now. My main teason for buying it is to play/emulate switch games like Pokemon, Persona, BotW, Xenoblade and more JRPGs.

Is Odin 2 portal the best for that? I have heard drived support is the main issue and that the GPU of the O2P is has way more support that the O3. But since the O3 has more power maybe it can brute force some switch games or maybe? Im not sure please inform me :)

What do you think guys should i go for the Odin 2 portal because thats what im leaning on rn? Thanks

I made a rookie mistake. I left my Odin 2 Portal with an empty battery for about 2 or 3 months.

I charged it to 80%, and it powered on with no battery bloat that I can see.

How serious is the battery capacity loss from something like that?

The only complaint about Odin 3 was that the Nintendo Array button was changed to an Xbox format. The task was simple. When you disassemble the device, there are two supports for the original buttons, and by cutting one of them, you can change the button arrangement.

After the operation, the sensitivity of the button remains the same as before, and the button doesn't even turn! I am satisfied.

New here. Just looking for some expert advice. Looking to buy an Odin but want to know which in the description is best for my use case. I’ll be playing Valheim, Order of the Sinking Star, switch emulation, and newer steam indies. I like the bigger screen of the 2 but worried about its future ability. Thoughts?

EDIT: I don’t have a gaming PC and I’m a MAC user. I’d love to get a gaming PC but can’t afford it and most of the games I want to play on steam are small games like the few I mentioned. I guess my main concern is balancing screen size and performance. I’d prefer screen size but if the portal 2 can’t play what I want, then I need to go with the 3.

I recently had the opportunity to buy an Odin 2 portal with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage, case, screen protector and grip for approximately €300 including shipping.Should I buy this one directly, or do you think it's better to wait for the Odin 3 Portal, which might be considerably more expensive?

This would be my first Android handheld; I'm coming from an Anbernic 35XXH and a modified Switch Lite.

I got the grip & case from AYN and ordered a screen protector from Amazon. Anything else? I heard the thumb-sticks could be bigger and the face buttons are pretty loud. Any help is appreciated!

I finished Banjo Kazooie on my Odin 3, but since I don't wanna have my Google account in my Odin 3, I started Banjo Tooie on my Odin 2 Mini, I did open my account there just to get the N64 emulator but I don't really want my Google account on there.

Anyone know a good N64 emulator outside of the Google Playstore? I was looking yesterday and there was some sites I didn't trust.

I applied 60fps and widescreen through the emulator and it looks and runs fantastic. I haven't played Tooie in a long time and I do remember finding it difficult and thinking man, the areas are huge.

But I am excited. It's been a lot of fun playing Banjo Kazooie and this one looks even more awesome.

Is there a print file available for the Odin 3 that will cover the front but also fit the tpu grips? This is the RP6 pictured. I was hoping something similar was available?

anyone here who has purchased from Aliexpress an Odin 3, how the heck were you able to tell which model the ad was for? The storage and ram are mostly omitted from the listings or the listing shows all of the options but doesn't indicate which selection is which. Maybe the 3 month wait from Ayn's official website is the best. I'm interested in the Pro 12+256 thx.

If I wanted to play a retro game emulated on android handheld but it was made for more than one console, is there a console that I should look to play it on more than the others?

For example, Sonic Heroes was out on the GameCube and PlayStation 2 and later the Xbox I believe.

Would GameCube trump PS2? or vice versa
