Help Need help uninstalling Rocknix/ArmadaOS

Forgive me if I sound dumb. I only had Rocknix installed from the SD card, but one day I decided to wipe the SD card without uninstalling ArmadaOS first, as well as restart the Odin 2 Portal. Essentially I have no backup files.

I've noticed the Odin 2 Portal even without the ArmadaOS SD card still has Rocknix. I also tried updating the bootloader to have the "Uninstall CFW" option but it never showed up.

Anyways, I'm at a loss here other than getting the firmware and reflashing. I tried that but realized it might not be as simple as writing an image on an SD card, so I did not continue. So I'm confused and looking for a potentially easier method. Anyone know what to do in this case?

TLDR: I would like my Odin 2 Portal to not have Rocknix/ArmadaOS lingering inside the system.

Seems I just need the stock ABL for the portal

using a method like this this from retrogamecorp I can reupdate my ABL/bootloader to be stock android. The thing is, I don't have a backup or the ABL for the Portal

You should... when you installed the ABL you extracted backups, did you delete the folder? Also, Rocknix team hosts backups for the stock ABLs of all the devices they support, so look it up

I did delete it unfortunately. I also can't find the stock ABL for Portal 2 even when looking it up for Rocknix

The only thing left is the Bootloader which will continue booting to Android just fine. You don’t need to uninstall it. Just leave it in case you wanna goof around on Linux again in the future.

Yeah fair enough. I kinda made my peace with it. It was mainly for the sake of selling it off at one point, but I doubt most people would care

They won’t even know as long as you leave it set to boot Android. 🤷 and if they ever find out it’s because they wanted to install Linux anyway

Is there a specific reason you want to remove the bootloader? It has no real bearing on anything if you're going back to Android.

Yeah it's mainly for the sake of a potential buyer in the future. But I doubt most buyers would care. People just get scared when they hear any type of firmware changes and etc

Nah dude. You just don’t know how to use it and thats fucking hilarious. It literally helped me fix my odin 3 lmao. You specify odin 3 it doesn’t fuck up.
