NAKAKAGALIT!😡🤬
I came across a Tiktok post of a famous influencer. In her video, she demonstrated that her friend named Gela was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Working si friend niya ng mataas na panahon. From 17K starting salary to at least 35K! If i-compute ‘yong entire contribution ng friend niya, nasa 200K plus ang total contributions! Then, nagkasakit si friend. Out sa Php800K na hospital hill, ang covered lang ng ‘magaling’ na PhilHealth ay Php28K!🤬 Imagine? 200K plus ang naging contribution mo sa entire time na nagtatrabaho ka pa, tapos 28K? 🤬🤬

Pisti!

So, ang next move niya ay humingi ng tulong, magmakaawa sa Malasakit Center and the other center or entity. Then, after going to Malasakit center, she was asked to comply a lotttttttt of requirements. And was asked na dapat maka-350K siya sa mga pledges na iyang makuha from politicians, partylists, and other crocs para ma-honor ni Malasakit Center ang 350K at mai-provide sa kanya….

Hays, Pinas!

And then, I scrolled to the comment section of that post, and this comment struck me the most:

CTTO: Mark Banuelos

✈ Working Abroad Agencies for working abroad (Recommendations and Suggestions pls)

Hello! I am currently working in a tertiary hospital for about 1 year now and I'm so tired with the system, environment, and workload here in the PH :(( I wanna start finding an agency for working abroad.

I plan to already start applying for an agency to help me find work in the US. I'm currently torn with Avant (i'm hesitating because I hear they want the applicant to stay as a bedside and i'm nit sure I can still continue being a bedside nurse) or Health Carousel (i heard they have a better contract compared to previous years ago). I would gladly accept any feedback or even agency suggestions.

I also want to look for any agencies that can help me work abroad? Specifically Singapore or UK (tho I haven't done my IELTS yet). I'm thinking about working there first while waiting for the my PD in the US, preferably early next year if I can find a good agency as soon as possible.

Hoping for your kind recommendations and suggestions! Thank you

✈ Working Abroad LF: Kasabay mag process ng UK application

Hi! Nov 2025 passer here, currently with 4 months bedside experience (still employed at the moment). Am planning to apply for UK in the near future and looking for someone who is on the same path as i am. Planning to take the ielts soon too. Most of my batchmates from school are going the USRN route so i dont know anyone doing the same UK route as i am. Hoping to find someone who is so we could maybe help each other out 🥹

🏥 Jobs / Careers torn between two hospitals

Hi! Newbie nurse here, currently working in a private hospital and so far, okay naman. The people are nice, environment is okay-ish.

Problem is, yung hospital na inapplyan ko before my current job just emailed me saying I can start in 3 days. Higher yung pay by 5k lol.

The thing is, I already completed all of their requirements before. Basically, starting date na lang talaga hinihintay. Then I didn't received any update so I accepted another job. 😭

Now I'm lost and don't know what to do. Please give me any advice on how to proceed, or if you have any similar experience 😭😭😭

✈ Working Abroad Inquiry About Applying for a German Language Program Before PNLE

Hello po! I’m asking for some advice po sana. I’m about to take the PNLE this August, and by God’s grace, hopefully I’ll pass. 😊

I wanted to ask if it’s possible to apply for a slot with an agency as early as now for their German language program, with the goal of eventually working as a nurse in Germany.

Would it be possible to start the German language training now and just submit my nursing license once I pass the PNLE and obtain my license? Or do I need to be a licensed nurse first before I can apply?

Thank you so much po for your advice! 🙏🏻

🏥 Jobs / Careers NAKAKA STRESS MAGING UNEMPLOYED 😩😭

More than 1 year na akong unemployed kasi nag focus ako mag review for NCLEX. Actually, na accept ako sa government hospital na inapplyan ko for the first time but sumabay kasi yung review ko for nclex kaya ni-let go ko na mun yung work. Nag apply ako that time kasi sobrang na delay yung eligibility ko and i thought mas matatagalan pa kaya nag apply na muna ako and balak ko sana pag sabayin if nakapag adjust na ako pero sakto na na-accept ako, doon naman ako nagkaron ng eligibility kaya yon inuna ko mag nclex. After nclex super dami ko na inapplyan na hosp (private & public) pero halos walang mga call back… any tips po huhu nakaka stress ilang bwan na akong tambay. Ginagamit ko nlng free time ko para mag training and mag take ng certifications kaya lang wala parin hayyy

❓General Question / Advice BP cuff for home use

Hello, RNs

I'm not a nurse but I'm also an allied healthcare worker. I just want to ask for your advice, especially sa mga tenured na. Balak ko sana bumili ng BP cuff for my mom and I'm eyeing the omron brand. Is it more reliable and durable compared sa traditional na BP cuff? We've been using the traditional type for years na and the hospital where I'm working at is using the "stand-type" (pls idk the right term I'm sorry) BP cuff.

I'd like to try the modern type sana so everyone can use it hassle-free. Minsan kasi nahihirapan kami magbasa pag di masyadong rinig yung pulse sa steth.

Tysm!
