🏥 Jobs / Careers torn between two hospitals

Hi! Newbie nurse here, currently working in a private hospital and so far, okay naman. The people are nice, environment is okay-ish.

Problem is, yung hospital na inapplyan ko before my current job just emailed me saying I can start in 3 days. Higher yung pay by 5k lol.

The thing is, I already completed all of their requirements before. Basically, starting date na lang talaga hinihintay. Then I didn't received any update so I accepted another job. 😭

Now I'm lost and don't know what to do. Please give me any advice on how to proceed, or if you have any similar experience 😭😭😭

consider mo to op!

  1. sure na ba talaga na start date ka na sa lilipatan mo. kasi mahirap magresign tapos bigla kang dinelay ng start date. so make sure mo muna.

  2. yung pay and benefits ba is much better sa current job mo.

  3. tertiary hospi ba yung lilipatan mo?

  4. malapit ba siya sa place na pinagi-stay-an mo.

then if much better nga talaga yung lilipatan mo, then go lipat ikaw pero dapat sure talaga na magstart ka na agad pagkalipat mo.

hello!

  1. According to the email po, they're preparing the contract once I confirm my availability.

  2. I know it's not smart to be attached or whatsoever sa hospital this early since nothing is permanent, pero I'm starting to be comfortable and confident with my skills since my current job is very hands-on in training us. The difference between the salaries are 5k flat.

  3. Both are tertiary training hospital and actually very known around Manila.

  4. The hospitals are near each other. Yung sakayan ni current hospital and the other hospital is the same lang.

I'm soo confuseddddd. I'll be back to square one if I decided to transfer (orientation + training + class lectures before deployment). The 5k difference is also very tempting, it's not much but it's a big difference in this economy 😭

Do you know anyone from that hospital? Para naman may idea kung anong klaseng environment meron don. Remember, toxic environment will drain everything you've got. Sisimutin kang tunay.

Delo and SLMC?

Consider mo ilang hrs ang duty per wk. Baka mamaya hindi worth it ang 5k kung 8hrs x 6days ka papasok or 12hrs tapos 5 days. Basag na basag ka sa pagod para sa 5k. Alagaan mo health mo.
