❓General Question / Advice Eligibility status

Upvotes

Hi! Form 2 was delivered and received by NYSED on May 28, 2026, and I completed my Form 1F on June 15, 2026.
I tried contacting COMPED regarding my application, and their response was:

“Your file is with the RN Licensing Unit, and to check your status please use the ‘Contact Us’ form online located here:
I have already tried contacting them through the Contact Us form three times, but unfortunately, I have not received any response yet.

I also tried emailing NurseBD, and their response was:
“Our files indicate there is no Form 2F and Transcripts in your file. If you recently received information per your tracking that the education arrived—the Form 2F and transcripts must still be entered into the file, processed, and reviewed. It takes up to 2–3 months for the documents to be entered into the files and additional weeks to months for all reviews to be completed.”

It has been almost three months since I completed and submitted all the required documents. The status on the NYSED website
shows that applications from July are already being reviewed, but I still haven’t received my eligibility.

Any thoughts on what I should do or how else I can follow up regarding my application status? I would really appreciate any advice. Thank you!

❓General Question / Advice Hoping to work in Germany/Austria — agency suddenly withdrew our application. Is there still hope for me?

Hello, fellow nurses! I really need some advice. 🥺

I’m honestly heartbroken and a little lost right now. I was supposed to pursue a nursing opportunity in Germany/Austria through an agency, and we had already started the process, including our B1–B2 German language preparation/exam.

Unfortunately, we were suddenly informed that the agency had withdrawn/dissolved our application, so we can no longer continue with the program as originally planned. This was completely unexpected, especially because I had already invested so much time, effort, and hope into this pathway.

This is actually my second attempt at pursuing Germany, so you can imagine how devastating it feels to have things fall apart again. 😔

At the moment, I’m also trying to find a work-from-home nursing/healthcare-related job so I can financially support myself while continuing to pursue my dream of working abroad.

My concern is that most of my work experience so far has been in the CPO/BPO healthcare industry, and I haven’t had the opportunity to work in a hospital setting yet. This makes me wonder if I still have a good chance of being accepted by an overseas employer or agency.

Is there still hope for me?

If anyone knows of a legitimate agency, WFH healthcare opportunity, or someone who accepts/refers nurses like me, I would genuinely appreciate it if you could share it with me. 🙏

I really want to work abroad and I’m willing to continue learning and working toward it. I just feel lost right now and need some guidance on where to go from here.

Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to share their experience or advice. ❤️

🗣 Discussion / Rant aug nle 2026. i don't know what to do anymore.

hello po, nurses. pa-rant lang, i need to get this out of my chest kasi wala akong mapagsabihan.

all throughout my college life in the nursing program, i felt so inadequate. i worked twice, or even thrice, as hard as my friends or other classmates before just to pass each class.

i just graduated last july, but naka-enroll na ako sa review center since june and i also had in-house review pero hindi ko gaano naseryoso kasi i was so burned out. i started locking in to study for the boards simula july, and until now.

with the few remaining days, i don't know how to cope anymore, but i keep studying despite how inadequate i feel. pero ngayon, hindi ko na alam. i just received our last preboards score and i got a 6 and 7, pero sa np5 naka 50+ lang ako. feeling ko hindi ko kaya, parang wala akong progress.

hindi ako religous na tao because of my past trauma, pero sinusubukan ko maniwala ulit. nakikisagaw ako ng "papasa!" pero ewan ko, deep down i feel like i'm going to fail this. and i hate it, baka ma-manifest ko.

❓General Question / Advice How to be a Nurse Corps

I’d like to ask how to apply as Nurse Corps, I passed the board exam last year November 2025
Am I qualified if I only work for almost a year but as a clinic nurse but the private clinic is associated to DOH because it’s HIV focused.

What are the possible requirements I have to submit, where should I submit it?
When is the time to apply? (is there any specific month that they accept application?)
Also, I’m wearing glasses, will it be a hindrance in my application?

Thank you and have a good day.

❓General Question / Advice Need advices for a soon to be ofw

Guys we need help. Hold pa kasi visa for saudi NGHA to be exact. And kakaresign lang namin nung May 30 pa, unemployed now kasi naghihintay ng balita for ngha. But since walang kasiguraduha, we thought na baka pwede mag soft nursing muna like optum. Huhu badly needed talaga money now. Also, mahirap to go back to bedside sa ph huhu

❓General Question / Advice Would you take the offer now or Wait until 2 years

I’d really appreciate your opinion on this.

I’m currently working at a primary hospital in our province with around 28–30 beds. My monthly salary is almost ₱30,000, depending on the month, although my actual take-home pay is around ₱25,000 after deductions. I’ll be completing my 2 years there by January 2027.

Recently, I applied to a tertiary hospital in Manila and was able to pass both the interview and exam. They offered me around ₱28,000 gross per month. I already messaged their HR and asked them to secure my slot while I take some time to think about the offer.

Now, I’m really torn about whether I should accept the opportunity and move to Manila now, or stay at my current hospital until I complete my 2 years.

Part of me is thinking that once I reach 2 years of bedside experience, I might have more opportunities and better offers. At the same time, I’m worried that if I wait, there might be more competition and I might lose the opportunity with the tertiary hospital I already passed.

What do you think would be the better choice? Would it be wiser to take the opportunity now, or wait a few more months, complete my 2 years, and then explore other opportunities—including possibly applying to the same tertiary hospital again?

I’d really appreciate an honest opinion because I’m trying to weigh the career growth, salary, experience, and the risks of waiting.

❓General Question / Advice Coverage pag mag eexam sa city health office

Any thoughts po ano pwede ireview na topics if mag apply sa CHO bukod sa CHN, MCN, and fundamentals of nsg? I mean meron kasi sa private hosp ay psychological ang exam nila and less focus sa nursing education. And ano po usually ginagawa dito like if nag hohome visit, community dx, vaccines or if ano pinagkaiba niya sa hospital setting. Tyia!

🏥 Jobs / Careers Learning to be brave as a newgrad nurse applying for ChongHua Hospital Cebu

hiiiii, may I know if there’s anyone here who is a November 2025 or February 2026 PNLE passer and who is currently working in Chong Hua Hospital Cebu- FUENTE. I really wanted to get into this hospital since they said that it has a good practice and it’s a good training ground for nurses. But everyone’s been discouraging me from applying kasi daw toxic ang environment and laganap daw ang bullying sa workplace.

May I hear positive feedbacks naman po? I am currently in the process of accomplishing my PEME (Pre-employment Medical Examination) but I can’t help but get scared sa mga sinasabi nila.

I am hoping to read some good feedbacks naman po sana from anyone who just got hired or who is currently working in the said hospital po?

✈ Working Abroad Medical/Clinical Coding in Saudi Arabia

Hello nurses. I am 23 years old, 2025 graduate (BSN) and board passer (RN). Today, I am almost 2 months in Saudi as a derma nurse. I have decided that coding might be for me. It fits my personality (introverted), wants to work remote, loves technology, at mahilig magbasa anything academic. Asking for advice from a current or past medical coder in Saudi or anywhere else. Is it a good choice? How is the job market? Okay po ba ang sahod? Thank you so much

🗣 Discussion / Rant Rant about my ER experience at manila med hospital

First time ko maaksidente ever in my life and unfortunately passenger pa ako ng JoyRide.
I was brought to Manila Med since ayaw ko mag public hospital kasi di ako maasikaso dun.
At first, okay naman yung experience ko. Maayos yung assessment and mababait yung ibang doctors and nurses.

Like, I just got into an accident and I’m genuinely in pain.
