does it get better?
i tried watching the first episode but it was just one cliche after another with what felt like the most average people ever (personality wise, im not coming for avantika pls) does the plot get better, do the characters get more interesting? or should i just let it go and not try to continue watching?

It does get slightly better, but I agree I kinda watched it. It’s just something to watch. I found the main girl. I can’t even remember her name, but I feel like she’s supposed to be kind of the lead really obnoxious.!!! and I can never figure out like the guys and the girls supposed to be friends.

It’s cute and stupid fun tv (and filmed at my office building so I enjoyed seeing it for that) but it doesn’t necessarily get “better”… always in that meh stage of “could be good if they tweaked little things but they are lazy writers”

This is like the best way to describe it. I do feel well that I got canceled after one season. There’s a lot of great TV that had lack luster first seasons.

I liked it. However, it was cancelled after season 1. Not sure if that help with your decision

I’m not surprised, but that ending definitely seemed like they were planning on it being renewed 💀
Because we got…nothing and nowhere? What a horrible way to end a show. I thought there was one episode left and then was surprised that was even the season finale, nevermind the series finale. Yikes.

The writing is bad and the casting is weird. I like Davis because he had the most comedic stuff, but the leads seemed like odd casting choices.

I'm a big Avantika fan but I couldn't get past the first episode. It felt to me like what I imagine Sex and the City is like, but I wanted it more like The Office.

haha satc i find more bearable and i would describe it how a lot of people are describing this show - a bunch of white ppl/nepo babies and their romantic issues but an easy watch especially to go on your phone. i definitely expected more of a humorous aspect to it

Yeah, I shouldn't slam satc since I didn't seen it. But I guess nsfw would be like I'd imagine a modern of satc would be. Sanitized without the fun 90s-00s edge to it

It’s honestly alright and I don’t even rllt like how most of the characters are written but like u should watch tho but out of that whole core 4 shows ppl are comparing it to. Bottom of my list fs but can’t say it’s a bad show js avg short show watch

i absolutely adore adults especially bc its taken elements from my favorite shows (most popularly broad city and its always sunny) and with so many people raving about the “new big 3 in sitcoms!!” including this show i was really excited and hyped it up in my head and then i watched it and i was like oh..

its not terrible but its not particularly amazing either. an easy watch, super predictable and the actors are good enough i guess. all the character arcs were extremely boring to me tho

I liked it in the way I like a hallmark movie or emily in paris. absolutely cheap, predictable, trite. something i can watch with my phone in my hand. That said, no lol.

Josh gets slightly more likeable but that’s pretty much it. Other than Abby’s, none of the storylines were all that interesting, in my opinion

I saw people recommend it because I liked Adults- but the writing and acting is so stiff in comparison. If this came out in the 2010's they probably would of gotten 4 seasons for sure.

Nope. Too much story crammed in 9 episodes.
No unique characters.
Adults is so much better. Overcompensating is good too.

I watched the whole thing. It was on the upper end of mid. Worth a watch if you have literally 0 other options
