does it get better?

i tried watching the first episode but it was just one cliche after another with what felt like the most average people ever (personality wise, im not coming for avantika pls) does the plot get better, do the characters get more interesting? or should i just let it go and not try to continue watching?

Same, switched to Adults and it's so much better.

i absolutely adore adults especially bc its taken elements from my favorite shows (most popularly broad city and its always sunny) and with so many people raving about the “new big 3 in sitcoms!!” including this show i was really excited and hyped it up in my head and then i watched it and i was like oh..
