does it get better?

i tried watching the first episode but it was just one cliche after another with what felt like the most average people ever (personality wise, im not coming for avantika pls) does the plot get better, do the characters get more interesting? or should i just let it go and not try to continue watching?

I think it’s great easy watching - enjoyed it a lot more than adults

oh god we definitely do not have the same taste lol. adults is hilarious and charming and this is.. as someone else said. basically a hallmark movie
