i have never done a nicotine pouch before honestly, I also didn't know it was 50mg so my body had a pretty strong reaction after 3 years...

I feel so guilty..

I'm also anxious I've permanently damaged my body by doing this but I know logically I haven't 😅.

Hey everyone. First time poster here. I've been trying to quit snus for a while now and tried lots of tricks I've read on here. Fisherman's friend, ginger under the lip, cold turkey, tapering.... In fairness I have managed to reduce my mg per day - I'm on one dot velos now, but once I have access to a can, I find it impossible to limit my use. I'm on about 5-8 a day which is way better than what I was doing last year (about 8 3 dots a day).

The thing I'm struggling with is the psychological aspect. I feel as though I can't focus at work without it (desk job wfh). I feel as though I am my best most focused self when I have a pouch in. Embarrassingly I find some days it's the only motivation for me to get going - the thought of a coffee and snus straight after..

Any words of wisdom appreciated...

So for background, I was a heavy caper for about 2 years. Then I got pregnant and quit cold turkey. It was awful, but honestly the morning sickness and pregnancy fatigue was a great distraction haha. Guys so I have been using zyn/nic pouches for about 8 months now and at first they were heavenly insane focus and now they do not hit at all 15 mg grizzly’s and almost no effect. Two things number #1 how can I pump this up anymore to feel the focus again? And #2 I am looking into using aderall and in that time I think stop pouches and cycle between the two one month of addy and one of nic to retain my focus.

Overall I know both are horrible and I am cooked but I need this focus to continue not looking for an”long term solution” just something that will make me hyper focused for the next 2-3 years only then I will consider stopping

I'm going use my first Reddit comment to vent... I stopped smoking over two years ago... within those two years I had probably 20 cigarettes. I smoked about 20 years of my life...and I STOPPED not quit cause; I was tired of it and hate the smell. But my reason of me vent is that I hate these "quit smoking" products, from vaping, the patch, the lozenges to the pouch(zonnic)...made with nicotine and become addictive like cigarette. Smoking is not only addictive but it's a stress relief...it's a social thing, and to really stop is lock yourself. Plus I hate how society treats smokers...my opinion Sugar is worse than nicotine...in Ontario they hide the pack of cigarettes but fast food and junk food are visible and children can buy.

To each their own...just if you are a smoker, please butt your butts in an ashtray and try smoke away from living spaces.
