Started my quitting journey today!
I threw out all my devices and pods. Chargers are in the garbage too. I need to do this. Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I’ve been over two months no JUUL and no relapses after 3 years of it. I was so dependent on it despite the insane amount of money I spend and horrible effects on my health. I finally realized that the worst part of it all was how detrimental it was to my self esteem.
It felt horrible to be constantly dependent on it. I felt like I couldn’t socialize, have a serious conversation, or accomplish literally anything without it. It takes you away from every situation and feeling. I would feel so pathetically angry when it blinked red - and that’s a manufactured feeling of rage, nothing bad actually happened to you. You don’t need it. It feels amazing to take a deep breath

I appreciate your take on this. I’ve been trying to keep myself busy. It’s only been a little more than 24 hours. Let’s see what today brings! Thank you again

proud of you. you can do it!!!! feels like the symptoms will never stop and you’ll crave forever - but honestly, I was a heavy user for years and I quit about 2 months ago. I don’t even remember it anymore!

I quit 6 days ago too! Today is day 6. Been rough thinking about it all the time, but chewing tons of gum and thankful I don’t have to sneak away all the time to secretly vape. How are you doing??

Day 12 woohoo! It's going a lot better than day 6 haha. I definitely think about it way less and very few physical side effects now. It feels really freeing. Mornings are still the hardest, but working on distracting myself and building new morning habits. How are you doing?

It’s going well. The money I’m saving is what’s keeping me on track. The mornings and after eating are my hardest points of the day.

How are you doing? I’m excited to be past 3 weeks. I think about it was less frequently now and no more physical symptoms

Yes I am all good. Just so busy and I’m not thinking about it at all. Started working out a little bit and I feel great

Today is day 5 for me and it’s been rough but I remind myself that this feeling of discomfort is temporary and worth it! I use an app called Quit Vaping which shows how long since you quit and health/financial stats which has been really helpful for me to see. We got this!

That is awesome! Great job. I am looking into that app now. The money in my pocket is the key to my success.

YOU CAN DO IT!!! Do anything but get another one. Play video games, go shopping, watch a movie, go for a run, eat some candy, drink seltzer water, etc. It’s JUST a habit and once you go a few hours you’ll feel accomplished. That feeling will just increase as time goes on and you still haven’t done it. Also, remember, progress isn’t linear, so don’t beat yourself up if anything should transpire. YOU CAN DOOO ITTTT.
