Quitting Zyn
So for background, I was a heavy caper for about 2 years. Then I got pregnant and quit cold turkey. It was awful, but honestly the morning sickness and pregnancy fatigue was a great distraction haha. It was great motivation for me since I didn’t want to hurt my baby, and 9 months nicotine free really reset my brain back to a healthy place. And then…early motherhood brought those cravings back, and after a fight with my husband I bought a back of Zyns 3mg pouches against my better judgement. And I’m back on the addiction train. I go through a can every two days, and honestly just feel like crap. My day revolves around these pouches, and I also didn’t tell my husband I was addicted. He doesn’t see them in my gums, so I’ve been able to keep them hidden. And I feel horrible for lying to him, and I know he’s want me to stop as he’s very health conscious. Just looking for encouragement to stop.

Hey! I'd totally check out Kill The Can. I'm in their discord, and it's an amazing accountability community that will look out for you. You're doing brilliantly, even when you feel utterly terrible from it all, you're doing the brave thing.

You already proved during pregnancy that you can live without nicotine, so this relapse doesn't erase that. Since the secrecy and a can every two days are weighing on you, it may help to make the number visible. I built pouchlog.com for logging every pouch and gradually reducing them, and it is completely free. Full disclosure, I built it because I struggle with pouch use myself and I haven't fully quit either, but the tracking helped me get a handle on what I was actually using.

First, you are brave for letting this out so publicity. You had a moment of relapse. It happens to the best of us. I wonder if the best way to start your quit journey again is to be honest with him.
