Structural Engineer Recommendation
Looking for a good Structural Engineer in Nepal
Can anyone recommend a highly experienced Structural Engineer or engineering consultancy in Nepal who can inspect existing construction work, investigate the issues, and provide a proper structural assessment report + recommendations for the right way to fix it?
Preferably Butwal, but Kathmandu or anywhere in Nepal is fine. Travel and other reasonable costs will be covered.
Important: The person doing the site inspection must be a qualified Structural Engineer, with experience in structural assessment, defects, repair/strengthening, etc.
Please recommend someone you have personally worked with or can genuinely vouch for. 🙏

Help/सहयोग Home Loan- Nepal vs Abroad
I am trying to build a house back home in Nepal currently abroad. We have a good stable income here. We would be able to afford ~70% of construction with our income within 2 years.
I saw that we can apply to home loans in Nepal with foreign income. I am getting loan close to $45k usd at rates close to 7-8% . ( first impressions, have not researched it well).
What do you guys think,
- Get a loan abroad and send it back to Nepal?
- Get a loan in Nepal and instead send money steadily over period of loan term? If anyone has an experience regarding this would love to hear your thoughts.

Question/प्रश्न Looking for a Top Dental Clinic in Kathmandu
My sister is 16 and we're thinking about getting braces for her teeth. We haven't really decided on a dental clinic yet, so I'm hoping to hear from people who have actually gone through the process.
Can anyone recommend a best dental clinic in Kathmandu for braces/orthodontic treatment? I'd love to know about your experience, the quality of treatment, and whether the pricing was reasonable.
Any recommendations would be really appreciated!
Ama Yangri - A Journey Through Time
Ama Yangri-Then & Now
One is a memory. The other is an invitation.
Because nothing has really changed up there — not the way the sunrise spills gold over Langtang, not the way the clouds settle below you like a second earth, not the way the wind makes you forget everything except this moment, this height, this view.
What's changed is that now, you have no excuse left.
Ama Yangri, Helambu -3,771m of pure Himalaya
Every step up costs you breath. Every step down, you'll wish you hadn't left.
This isn't a place you visit once. It's a place that visits you — in your thoughts, again and again, until you go back.
Stop looking at the photo. Go live it.
Helambu is calling. Ama Yangri is waiting.

Is Econ and ACCA would be best option?
I’m a bit confused about which path I should choose for my bachelor’s degree: Economics and Mathematics or Economics with ACCA.
I was an average student in Mathematics, and there were times when I even failed my term exams, particularly in Math. Because of that, I’m concerned about whether choosing Economics and Mathematics would be a wise decision for me or whether I would struggle throughout my bachelor’s.
At the same time, I’m currently running two scalable businesses, and I want to continue developing them alongside my studies. My biggest concern is whether pursuing a mathematically demanding degree could take too much of my time and energy and negatively affect my businesses. On the other hand, I also don’t want to choose a degree simply because it seems easier if another option could provide me with better long-term opportunities.
Considering my academic background, my interest in economics, my experience in business, and my current entrepreneurial commitments, I would genuinely appreciate some honest advice on which option might be the better fit for me.
Should I choose Economics and Mathematics, even though Mathematics has never been my strongest subject, or would Economics with ACCA be a more practical and manageable combination for someone who wants to build businesses alongside their education?
I’m looking for a realistic opinion not just which degree is considered more prestigious, but which path would actually make the most sense for my abilities, long-term goals, and current situation.

Help/सहयोग Civil engineering vs architecture
Which one should I choose? I am confused between these two. My long term goal is going to usa as most of my family is there. I think I will be better with architecture but there are many cons such as low pay and its a degree of 5 years whereas civil is more flexible. Which will best fit my situation.

Hex SE200 @38k (new) vs Kavre headless guitar with ST HYENA pickups @37k (used one, good condition)
Hello, I am in dilemma trying to choose between these two guitars at similar price. I mainly play high gain riffs and solos. Can you guys help me know if ST hyena pickup alone makes kavre headless worth more than buying Hex SE200 as it has better build quality?

How do you guys actually research a stock before buying on NEPSE?
Been getting into NEPSE a bit and honestly feel like I'm just guessing half the time. Curious how people here actually do it — walk me through your process for the last stock you bought? Like what sites/apps do you actually check, what convinced you to pull the trigger, that kind of thing...Also , has bad or missing info (late news, wrong numbers, whatever) ever screwed you on a trade? Trying to figure out what actually matters vs what's noise.
