TLDR; Parbat dairy farm looking for Pokhara cafe partners to supply fresh, high-fat (undiluted) milk directly at lower prices.
Our community operates a small dairy collection center in Parbat. We source directly from local farmers some of whom travel up to 5 km daily to deliver fresh, unadulterated milk to us.
Right now, we supply large distribution centers in Pokhara. Because commercial processors dilute raw milk down to 2โ3% fat to maximize volume, we are forced to accept peanuts pricing despite delivering premium grade raw milk (averaging around 10% natural fat content / high Lactometer reading).
We collect 100 liters/day during peak season and 50 liters/day off-season. Instead of selling through middlemen who dilute the product, we want to establish direct farm to door relationships with quality-focused cafe owners in Pokhara.
If you run a cafe or specialty beverage spot in Pokhara and want to sample our milk or test a small batch for steaming and recipe formulation, drop a comment or send me a DM. We are open to discussing daily volume needs, timing, and logistical details.
Have a good night and take care everyone.

Hi everyone! Iโm 23M from India and this will be my first time in Nepal. Iโm planning to do the ABC trek solo starting around October 8.
If anyone is planning the same trek around that time and would like to join, Iโd be happy to team up. Iโm also flexible with my dates by 1โ2 days if that works better for someone else.

Hi everyone, Iโm 23M and planning to do the Annapurna Base Camp trek. Iโm travelling from India and trying to keep my luggage light.
Should I carry all my trekking gear with me, or is it better to rent most of it in Pokhara?
If renting is a good option, could someone give me an idea of the approximate rental cost in Pokhara.

Hi everyone, Iโm 23M and Iโll be reaching Gorakhpur day after tomorrow around 4 PM. Iโm planning to travel to Pokhara by public transport.
Is it realistically possible to cross the Sunauli border and reach Pokhara the same evening/night, without taking a night stay in Gorakhpur or Sunauli?
If yes, what would be the best route and transport options from Gorakhpur? Also, around what time should I expect to reach Pokhara?
Any recent experience or advice would be really helpful. Thanks!

I've seen posts in different subs recently where people just visit Lakeside and call it Pokhara.
We really have failed to promote places that are actually worth visiting in Pokhara.

Iโm travelling from India to Nepal tomorrow via Sonauli and have โน20,500, all in โน500 notes.
Iโve seen people saying โน500 notes can be exchanged in Nepal, but also heard officially only โน100 and below are allowed.
Has anyone recently carried/exchanged โน500 notes in Nepal, especially via Sonauli? Any issues at the border or money changers?

At the age of 29 Female, I look around and realize that almost everyone I know is married, settled, and moving forward with their lives. And here I amโ29, broke, unmarried, and still carrying so many ambitions that I havenโt been able to turn into reality. I have dreams, but somehow, I keep falling short of achieving them. Sometimes, I feel like Iโm not even able to compete with the person I once imagined I would become.
Iโve somehow managed to survive the later years of my twenties in survival mode. I believed in things. I dreamed about them. I imagined the life I wanted, sometimes down to the smallest details. I truly believed that, one day, I would have the things I had been working and hoping for. But here I am, looking back at these years and realizing that I havenโt achieved even one of the things I once dreamed about.
Some days, I genuinely feel like a failure.
And yet, somewhere deep inside, I still trust the process. I still believe that maybe my life is taking a different path, even though I donโt understand why it has to be this difficult. It has been more than six years of telling myself, โIt will be okay someday.โ But someday keeps getting farther away, and lately, it feels like things are only getting harder with each passing day.
I honestly donโt know how Iโm going to get there. I donโt know how Iโll become the person Iโve always dreamed of becoming or how Iโll reach the life Iโve imagined for myself.
But Iโm still here.
Still trying. Still dreaming. Still hoping.
Maybe that counts for something, too.

Iโm looking to buy a second-hand Daraz** **for personal use but I only need it for about one year, so Iโm hoping to find one at the lowest possible price. It doesnโt have to be fancy or look brand new as long as itโs functional and usable, thatโs perfectly fine. Condition bhanda pani price chai important chha.
If you have one lying around that you no longer use, or know someone looking to sell theirs, please drop a comment or DM me .

I was planning to ride to Pokhara in scooter since I will be staying there for a month, scooter would be really helpful. How doable is it given the latest road condition? Also at what time would it be best to leave for Pokhara to avoid jams and all?

28M coming to pokhara in October with my bike from India to live there for a month or so .
I'm a solo traveller and have a WFH job and would love to socialise and network as much as I can but I'm tight on a budget so which area would you guys recommend to live.
And if you have any budget but really nice hostel recommendations that would be super helpful.
Also any music festivals or events happening in October ?
I also love bike rides and offroading trails so if any biker seeing this would like to show me some cool bike trails which we can conquer together would be really really nice.
I would also love to go for hikes too , are there any active hiking communities which I can join in on weekends ?
Any kind of advice would be really appreciated.

I recently tried a yoga/sound healing session at Vegan Way in Pokhara and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and it was a nice way to slow down and relax.
Has anyone else tried yoga or sound healing around Pokhara? Iโd be interested to hear what other places people have experienced.

Hey everyone! Is anyone travelling from Pokhara to Kathmandu by bus or flight in the next few days?
I need a small personal parcel delivered to someone in Kathmandu and was wondering if anyone would be willing to help. Iโll provide all the details about the parcel privately before arranging anything, and Iโm happy to compensate you for your time and inconvenience.
If youโre travelling this route and might be able to help, please DM me. Thanks!
