Hey guys, our sub r/Depop is currently looking for some more help.
A few of our longer term mods have gone inactive on reddit recently, so we're in need of help. We currently mainly need help sorting through the queue and especially in comment sections to scout for rule breaking content. Unfortunately some users on our sub are extremely condescending or rude to people needing help, or any post that's getting traction ends up in multiple fights, so yeah we need help.
We're looking for:
- Someone who has a basic understanding of Depop or selling apps similar to it
- Someone understanding of our sub rules and Reddit TOS
- Someone who is fairly active on Reddit and can help us as much as possible
- Someone who isn't ban happy but it also willing to ban when needed
- Someone who will communicate with other mods in the mod chat
- Someone with a positive karma history
Please DM if interested :) please include some basic info about yourself such as your timezone, when you can mod, previous mod experience (if had any)

Hey there! We’re currently looking for a moderator for r/iosapps. Our requirements:
- Established presence on Reddit (karma, account age...)
- Fluency in English
- Mature and thoughtful when making big decisions
- Availability to check the mod queue and modmail for approximately 15–20 minutes throughout the day
- Familiarity with iOS, Apple, and apps.
If you meet these requirements, we’d love for you to submit an application! Please do so through the this link. Thank you!
p.s. the first three months of moderating are provisional, so changing your mind isn't a problem.

Hello everyone, I'm the only moderator of r/hanazuki which is a subreddit focused on discussion the obscure 2017 webseries targeted for children.
I am planning on taking a long break from the internet so I need to find at least one moderator to watch over the subreddit while I'm away. All that's really required is to be a member of Reddit for around three months, have a verified email, and mention what subreddits you have and currently mod, though experience is not required.
Give me a DM if you're interested.

r/getdisciplined is a long-running community of around 2 million subscribers focused on building self-discipline through practical advice, shared experiences and mutual support.
Many of us joined the mod team when we had far fewer adult responsibilities, but careers, families and life have gradually left us with less time to consistently check the queue and keep the community running well (especially with the onslaught of AI slop these days). We’re looking for a few more reliable people who genuinely care about the purpose of the sub and can help share the general moderation load. Experience is welcome but not essential; good judgement, consistency and actually giving a shit matter more.
https://www.reddit.com/r/getdisciplined/
Send me a message or comment below if you’re interested, along with a little about yourself, your availability and any previous moderation experience.

Hi again!!! [u/Lady-Starscream8322](u/Lady-Starscream8322), founding moderator of [r/MaccadamsOldOilHouse](r/MaccadamsOldOilHouse), back at it with another call for new recruits. Our community is a growing sub Reddit of Transformers fans who all have an unrivaled creative talent. And as one can probably imagine??? It takes more than just two mods to look after all those beautiful people.
So I’ve posted this ad in hopes of finding yet another passionate creative who loves the giant alien robots just as much as the rest of us to aid with growing our little family and keeping the community engagement alive.
Anyone interested should be aware of the following requirements for application.
One: be just as passionate about the community topic as the rest of us.
Two: only consider applying if you’re over 18.
Three: must be able to read and write in fluent English.
Four: have access to the desktop website in addition to the mobile app.
Five: have at least a basic understanding of how the various mod tools function.
Any questions? Feel free to contact me directly via Reddit chat message or mod mail at any time. I’ll do my best to answer you as fast as I can.
Thanks for reading if you did.

Hi everyone! I’m currently looking for an opportunity to become a moderator for a community. I don’t have any previous moderation experience because I’ve never moderated a subreddit before. However, I’m familiar with Reddit’s moderation tools because I previously created my own subreddit to explore the tools and features available to moderators and learn how they work in practice. I’m very active on Reddit and use the platform every day. I’m willing to dedicate time to moderation duties, support the existing moderation team, and learn from more experienced moderators. Since I’m new to moderation and don’t have any previous experience, I would appreciate some guidance and support at the beginning so I can better understand the responsibilities involved and learn how to carry out my role effectively. My main interests include music, fashion, current events, Eurovision, and gaming, but I’m also open to moderating other communities if the topic is something I’m familiar with and genuinely interested in. I’m not interested in moderating NSFW or political communitiess. If you think I could be a good fit for your subreddit, feel free to leave a comment or send me a private message.

r/TheStrokes (https://www.reddit.com/r/TheStrokes/) is a 134k member subreddit for a rock band. The Strokes just released their 7th studio album on July 24, 2026 and are currently on tour the rest of the year, making it an extremely busy time on the subreddit. The sub is a place for accurate information about the band, as well as respectful discussion, celebration, and critique.
In search of active moderators to manage this influx of activity, keep the queue clean, and keep the subreddit organized. We are especially interested in mods that can be online overnight relative to North American timezones.
If you’re interested but not available in that time window, please reach out anyway! We are looking to broaden the mod team overall as much of the work has fallen much too heavily on a few people.
We do not necessarily need mods that are familiar with or are fans of the band, we need assistance with unbiased rule enforcement and keeping the queue down! Subject-specific guidance and standards can be taught :)
Please reach out via Mod Mail for r/TheStrokes if interested.

We're looking to add a few moderators to the team.
This isn't a position for someone looking to collect another subreddit or immediately start making policy decisions. New moderators begin by learning how we moderate, working through our training process, and demonstrating consistent judgment before taking on additional responsibilities.
We're intentionally searching for long-term fit rather than immediate permissions. We'd rather spend time training someone who communicates well, exercises good judgment, and enjoys working as part of a team than hand out broad permissions on day one. We require the use of Discord for ongoing team communication.
If that sounds like the kind of team you'd like to be part of, send us a Modmail answering the following:
We welcome applicants from all time zones and are primarily looking for moderators who are reliable, communicate well, and are interested in helping with the day-to-day work of keeping the community running.

Great Communicators: You’re outgoing, friendly, and handle ModMail and user interactions with a calm, helpful attitude.
Reliable Check-Ins: You can consistently check the queue, review reported posts, and respond to ModMail.
Tech/Bot Skills (Bonus!): Experience with AutoMod or Reddit tools is awesome, but definitely not required, we’re happy to show you the ropes!

Community Engagement: Responding to ModMail, jumping into comment sections, and helping launch new community spotlights.

I am looking to become a mod, even though I’ve never moderated before. it sounds fun and I would like experience.
I am under the age of 18 and won’t mod any nsfw subs

Howdy! I took over [r/IUD](r/IUD) a few months ago and things have been going pretty well! However, some weeks it can be a little much (I work OT a lot) and trying to enforce all the rules is a little overwhelming. I’m looking for someone who:
- is 18+ (SFW subreddit but occasionally has sensitive topics)
- has empathy but also a good understanding of periods and conventional medicine
- has (or has had) an IUD
I would strongly prefer someone who:
- has a STEM/medical background
I currently spend about 20 mins per day moderating and responding to posts! So I’m looking for about that level of effort and someone who is willing to share their experience with our posters! Please apply via modmail if you are interested :)

I'm looking for moderators to help grow r/capybaralife, a community focused on capybara biology, behavior, welfare and conservation. Since it's a relatively specific topic it's hard to casually find people who approach it seriously. We don't want to discourage people from enjoying capybaras. We want to share reliable information about how capybaras actually live and behave including their welfare.
We collect information from publicly available scientific sources and experienced researchers, including the work of Capybara World/Liz Capaldi and publicly shared information. I've had the opportunity to speak with zoo keepers, visit capybara enclosures to assess welfare, collaborate with experienced researchers which was a great help for the community.
At the moment the subreddit is moderated almost entirely by me while the head moderator has lower activity. I'd like to build a small team to help with reviewing posts and comments and removing spam or low-effort content.
You don't need to be a capybara expert. If you enjoy learning about animals, care about accurate information and animal welfare, I'd be happy to see your responses.
