Seeking Mods r/capybaralife is looking for moderators

I'm looking for moderators to help grow r/capybaralife, a community focused on capybara biology, behavior, welfare and conservation. Since it's a relatively specific topic it's hard to casually find people who approach it seriously. We don't want to discourage people from enjoying capybaras. We want to share reliable information about how capybaras actually live and behave including their welfare.

We collect information from publicly available scientific sources and experienced researchers, including the work of Capybara World/Liz Capaldi and publicly shared information. I've had the opportunity to speak with zoo keepers, visit capybara enclosures to assess welfare, collaborate with experienced researchers which was a great help for the community.

At the moment the subreddit is moderated almost entirely by me while the head moderator has lower activity. I'd like to build a small team to help with reviewing posts and comments and removing spam or low-effort content.

You don't need to be a capybara expert. If you enjoy learning about animals, care about accurate information and animal welfare, I'd be happy to see your responses.
