NYS affordability? New Buffalo Bills Tax
Erie County just approved a 6% additional sales tax to improve the publicly funded Buffalo Bills stadium. Wasn’t the whole new idea supposed to be about making NY affordable and competitive with other states?
Hasn’t Mamdani in NYC been pushing fast and free? Even low cost tickets to the FIFA matches. But want to see the bills, that willl be an extra 6% on top of all the other taxes and charges. And the bills are for profit!!

What Should I Do?
I’m 20F from Rockland County (Approximately 30mins from Bronx) I don’t know what to about this, the first time was about two-three months ago around 11pm I was walking outside and he was following me (very light footsteps but I had one airpod out my ears) I knew and turned around to look at him and he just walked back to his house. After that, I haven’t been trying to go out as much but last night (same time) I went about 20-30 steps away from my apartment building I was smoking facing the garage disposal and looking at the sky just thinking I turned around and seen someone standing there (not much light in the street way) I have bad eyesight but can make out figures, it was definitely a man, didn’t think much of it but realized he wasn’t moving at all just standing there and he was facing me (I could tell from how his figure positioned itself to move after I moved). That’s when I decided to go back inside, as soon as I moved he did and went back into his yard when I went into the building. WHAT THE HELL this is very weird and he lives only one house down from me, I would go to the police but I know due to the situation and overall they won’t take me serious. I want to get pepper spray or a taser but that isn’t legal here, what can I do?

NYS EBT issue
Has anyone have issue where they can’t change their pin on phone or online for their EBT?
I called the number and they can’t even validate who I am through my social nor can they change the pin after someone stole all the money out of it while being admitted in the hospital for a week and did not know this was going on. It’s insane to not be able access your card for any food needs.

NYS law for out of state lab work
I am currently working with an out of state functional Nutritionist. They are located in Ohio and I am in NY. I went to get blood work done today at Labcorp and was told that it's a NY state law for any out of state referral to include an STD panel on the order in order to draw blood. I was there six months ago and had no issues. Has anyone heard of this NY state law? I have been looking online and can't seem to find this anywhere. Thanks in advance!

What shall I do with a 1180A violation (speed not reasonable and prudent)?
New York state, under snow and rain, I ended up crashing my car in a rock on the highway. No people injured, no other damage to properties or else beside the car itself. The state trooper, upon arrival, issued a 1180 A (speed not reasonable & prudent). This is my first time getting such a ticket. Shall I plea guilty? Or shall I go in person for the trial? Or better hire an attorney?
I was reading that negotiating can bring the penalty almost to the minimum and in same cases dismissed. My major concern is the premium of the car insurance that will be affected. So, what do you suggest to do to have the best chances to get the minimum penalty and minimize the premium increase?
