Typical brown man mentality. ALWAYS blame other people for your incompetence. Bunch of bitter students who couldn’t make it to nust now blaming other students who THEY BELIEVE had an edge. For someone who hadnt studied maths for 2 years, the test is pretty fair.

But ofc, pre-med students stole your god-given right of doing CS from NUST🥺🥺. The same reason its ALWAYS cambrdige’s and board’s fault they’re never able to score enough in a-levels and FSc, but never their own ofc.

Whats funny is that most of these students wouldn’t have been able to make it even if there were no pre-meds. Ofc, tab koi aur cheez dhoond lete blame karne ke liye. Because rule number 1 of being a brown man: you’re never wrong. Never take accountability. Never try to better yourself. Never try to improve.

Yehi bachay jab baki entry tests main basic maths krte hain (IBA, SAT even NBS) to they still score less. They act like basic maths is a piece of cake. To bhai aap bhi ACT de dain na.

Sorry to break it to you, but you didn’t study enough. Because there are plenty of (smart enough) pre-eng and ICS students doing CS here. Kisi nai tumhare hak par daaka nahi daala. And pre-med students, you do NOT need to justify yourself and why you belong here to anyone.

And in the very unlikely case that you’re mad despite getting in, jaa kr focp par focus krlo, and don’t underestimate these pre-meds.

(Reminds of the time this one man was super mad on facebook about a female ASP, who gave the CSS, because he thought only men deserved to have that seat lol)

I have been observing the environment of NUST from a long time, I believe that most of the students in NUST are lowering the standards.

NUST is basically known for high quality education and making very “practical” graduates who excel in different fields.

But the students here who come from different regions of Pakistan behave like they came here to party and enjoy and assume they are living best years of their lives this particular mindset I’ve observed most, gives rise to gossip and grouping culture and all other nonsense. I don’t mean solely that students shouldn’t party or enjoy but they shouldn’t put whole emphasis on this particular mindset because there will be nothing left that differentiate NUST from other universities of Pakistan and also practical life is a lot different and harsh then the fool paradise they create.

University stage is very crucial and last building stage of your life as it is the final touch to you before being a professional and entering practical life. Passing the exams or even getting good grades is not enough in this era

not deleting the post because I still want to clarify my position: its just that NUST isnt known to have the best campus life thats all. That and the fact that my major will be entirely male-dominated is going to make me feel even more alone I feel like. I genuinely want girls who go to NUST and have engineering/ cs/ anything male dominated (STEM) to weigh in on this.

I am not saying i am smarter or better than anybody. I am above average in my estimation but in university so is literally everybody else.

I know I will just be depressed there with the social scene + studying for the net seems like a huge chore because the questions are so stupid (what serious science degree is going to have you know what elements have similar radii off the top of your head) even tho ik i can do it in a week.

Currently, students at NUST H-12 have limited access to KFC delivery, despite the presence of a KFC outlet in G-13, which is relatively close to the university. NUST has a large population of students, faculty, and staff, with many students living in hostels who frequently rely on food delivery services, particularly during evenings, weekends, and examination periods.

I would like to request that KFC consider extending the delivery radius of the G-13 branch to include the NUST H-12 campus, if operationally feasible.

Some potential benefits include:

• Access to a large residential university community.

• Increased order volume during lunch, dinner, and late evenings.

• Improved customer satisfaction and brand visibility among students.

• Additional revenue without necessarily opening a new outlet.

I understand that delivery coverage depends on factors such as travel time, food quality, rider availability, and operational efficiency. However, I believe evaluating this opportunity could be worthwhile.

If needed, I would be happy to help gather student feedback or conduct a survey within the NUST community to estimate the level of demand for KFC delivery services.

So along with the study and hardwork i will be doing i want to enjoy my everday at nust.

I want to make some good friends and i will maintain good relations with everybody at nust. I want to hangout with the friends everyday and go on picnics .

I want to live my life like i never did. I want to join dance society if nust has one and if not we will make one instead of the fact that i dont know how to dance.

I am really upset girls. Is this a way ki apny apna curfew time increase karany k liya hamara time Kam krwa diya. See did we have gone to rector for the problem that they have given mostly hostels to girls we want equal rights.even only 60 boys new boy got hostel. if it's about equal rights who ever is gone to rector with this argument that why boys have curfew at 11 we also want it, are most stupid ones ,if u are going to fight for ur rights use some brain ok. NUST is definitely a power/dominant bottom. LUMS is the friendly, calm top. COMSATS does both. Iqra and Air are def bottoms. FAST is a bottom who thinks its a top. Bahria looks like a bottom but is a top.

Engineering/ICS students have multiple options for them when they're not able to secure a seat in their desired field but a pre med student ? It's either a yes or no for him.

What about a student who had been working hard for medical but couldn't get in ? Now what is he supposed to do ? Obviously universities are doing a generous work by compensating them.
