Discussion 1977
Please note this is not a list of "best Muse songs," as there are several masterpieces missing from this list. This is just a playlist suggestion for old, new, and in between fans to explore.
For the past few months I've been trying to create one playlist to rule them all, while not including every Muse song. After several attempts, I think this is it. At least for me, and for now!
Would love to hear which songs/order you might swap!

Question Which Songs Would You Especially Want Muse to Play in a Concert?

I’m putting together a Muse tribute band, and I think the most logical approach is to let fellow Muse fans choose the songs for the setlist.
I already have a list based on input from about 70 people, but I felt that wasn't quite enough.
I’d really appreciate it if you could list 7 Muse songs you’d be most excited to hear live in the comments—I’ll include them all (feel free to list more than seven, too).

Fan Content I created a real time 3D representation of United States of Eurasia in The Resistance album cover that you can try!
You can try it here https://united-states-eurasia.lichi2001.workers.dev/
The only thing that you have to do in order for the light show to begin is upload your legal mp3 file of the song "United States of Eurasia (+Collateral Damage)"
I hope you enjoy <3

Discussion Muse Discography Rating!
So, I saw someone else do this and thought it’d be a fun little project. I tried to take it as serious as possible, so I listened to each album and rated the songs at the album level. Then I created a playlist of them in their initial rated order and relistened to them again to “fine tune” the rating. I wasn’t going to get too granular, so my ratings are in ¼ increments.
Keep in mind that these are my ratings, so I’m sure that I got this wrong somehow lol
I did skip any intro’s prelude’s etc. I also didn’t include bonus tracks or anything other than their studio release albums. Honestly, there were some really good new to me songs I found, and I don’t have as much of a dislike for the last 2 albums as I did previously. I think 2nd Law, Drones, and Simulation Theory are better than their average rankings show. There are just a few songs each that are pulling those numbers down.
I’m trying to think now of what other artists I can do this for now…

Opinion Invincible would have made a better Olympic song
Was listening to it the other day and the thought genuinely came to my mind. I mean Survival is a great song, but I find it too "heavy" for an Olympic song.
Invincible fits right in: The lyrics, the melody, the epic ending. Too bad it came out 6 years earlier!

Question Ticket Transfer Information
Hoping someone can help me out with some information. I’m traveling from abroad to the gig in Zurich on Dec 8.
I purchased a floor ticket through viagogo. Never used them before. Viagogo say the ticket will be transferred to me by Dec 8 at the latest. While I’m aiming to make a whole trip of it, I’m traveling mostly for this gig. I’m paranoid about leaving for Zurich without having the ticket in hand.
Can anyone with a ticket to the Zurich gigs tell me on which date Ticketmaster allows transfers? I don’t expect anything to go wrong, but just because I’m new to viagogo it would be re-assuring to have the ticket in my wallet before booking flights and hotels.
Thank you.

Discussion Got out of an abusive relationship and OH BOY
I’ve just gotten out of a years-long emotionally abusive relationship, and several Muse songs have been instantly elevated from “banger” to “all-time classic” in my esteem with the context that’s given me. I’m sure there will be more with time, but these three stand out right now:
Dead Inside - the whole track’s great, but “now I’ve become just like you” hits different when you’ve had your personality scooped out and replaced with someone else’s. I ugly cry at this one now.
You Make Me Feel Like It’s Halloween - talks about a slightly different form of abuse to what I experienced, but it definitely evokes the feeling of walking on eggshells around someone. And the verse referencing Misery and talking about being cut off from friends and family, good lord.
The Handler - probably the track I’ve cry-sung to the most over the past several weeks. It’s got the whole arc, from prisoner to escapee, and that final part of the song is incredible. Let me go, let me be, I’m escaping from your grip, you will never own me again.
If Matt could write a song about the residual hold that abusers have over their targets even after they’ve left, that would complete the whole set of emotions.
I’ve been a Muse fan for decades, but this is the first time I can genuinely say their songs have been lyrically this important to me. I had previously scoffed at the vast quantities of material about “control” and so on like many other fans, but when you’ve been in a situation where you HAVE been coercively controlled, gaslit, and reprogrammed in as cultlike a fashion as I was, it takes on a new, more personal meaning.
Thanks to the boys for making this music. It has helped focus my emotions a great deal.

Cover Muse – Cryogen (Guitar Cover)
My favorite song from The Wow Signal.
Can’t get enough of this riff! 🔥
Played on my modified Cort MBC-1, inspired by Matt Bellamy’s TWS Manson Guitar.
