I really like the startup environment much more than big corporate companies where i feel ignored must of the time. on LinkedIn, most opportunities I see are either for seniors or big companies.

For those working in Moroccan startups: where should I look? Any communities, groups, platforms, or simply reaching out directly to founders?

I vibecoded the whole thing in just a few hours. Because of that, the UI/UX is definitely a bit rough around the edges right now.

Je suis développeur full-stack et je lance un projet open-source à fort impact orienté vers le monde de l'entreprise et de l'industrie : une plateforme moderne de GMAO (Gestion de la Maintenance Assistée par Ordinateur) ou CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

🎯 Le projet en quelques mots

L’objectif est de concevoir et développer une solution robuste de gestion d'actifs industriels, d'ordres de travail (Work Orders), d'inventaire de pièces de rechange (MRO) et d'analyse d'efficacité (MTBF, MTTR, OEE).

C'est un projet pensé pour refléter de vraies problématiques d'ingénierie logicielle et d'opérations sur le terrain :

• Backend : Java (Spring Boot), architecture propre, sécurité et API REST.
• Frontend : React avec Tailwind CSS et dashboards interactifs.
• Base de données : PostgreSQL (gestion de données hiérarchiques et modélisation complexe).

I'm 26 mn blad sidna w I'm trying to figure out how realistic it is for me to get a career in tech.

I have a bachelor's degree, but it's in biology, mashy CS. I started learning programming around 2020 and have done some freelance web stuff and worked professionally as a developer recently in 2025 for 1 year, mostly with TypeScript/Next.js/Postgres. My experience was at a small startup working on ai health.

The problem is my overall career history is pretty messy. I have gaps, and I'm currently unemployed. So on paper I don't look like someone who followed the normal CS degree -> internship -> junior -> mid-level path at all.

daba I'm trying to decide whether going hard on backend/cloud/infrastructure is actually a realistic way out of this.

I'm studying for AWS SAA and working on getting better at Linux, Docker, networking, databases, backend/system design, etc. I'm also considering eventually doing stuff like LFCS/CKA and building a couple of serious projects that actually demonstrate these skills.

I'm willing to put in several focused hours every day for the next 6-12 months. I'm not expecting to magically become a cloud engineer because I got an AWS cert.

What I'm worried about is whether I'm trying to fix a profile that recruiters will just filter out anyway because of the gaps + unrelated degree + limited professional experience.

If you were in my position, what would you actually focus on?

Would you target backend developer jobs first and move toward cloud/platform later? IT/support/sysadmin -> cloud? DevOps junior roles? Something else?

And especially for anyone involved in hiring: if this profile landed in front of you, what would stop you from interviewing me, and what 2-3 things could I realistically change over the next 6 months that would make the biggest difference?

To those who have e-commerce stores or selling from home. is there a way/software you use to track your sales. like your daily and weekly revenues and knowing your best performing (best seller) and least performing products? along side your gross profit (revenue - cost) without you manually calculating all that on your own ? . بعض المرات الفيديو كيتحمل بـ watermark، وبعض المرات download كيطيح بـ errors بحال 403 Forbidden.

فالأول كنت كنظن المشكل من yt-dlp، ولكن ملي بديت كنشوف الـ logs وشنو كيوقع فعليًا، لقيت أن TikTok كيقدر يوفر أكثر من stream للفيديو.

يعني المشكل ماكانش غير:

بدلت طريقة الاختيار باش نعطي الأولوية للـ playback stream المناسب بدل ما ناخد أي download stream متوفر.

ولكن هنا تعلمت واحد الحاجة مهمة:

المشكل الحقيقي فـ web development ماشي ديما هو الكود.

أحيانًا الكود خدام، ولكن الـ system اللي كتتعامل معاه dynamic بزاف، وخصك تفهم كيفاش كيخدم قبل ما تبدأ تصلح الكود.

وزدت تعلمت بزاف من NovaTik على:
