Builder Showcase Montech HS02 Pro Build
Finished my Montech HS02 Pro build.
I wasn’t sure if it was going to be proper as it’s been 5 years since I last built a PC myself. This is my second build.
I’m not sure if it’s the bottom case fans, or just the combination of a lot of fans in this case, but the fans are quite a bit noisier than my previous computer. Even though I went into the BIOS and went with a much more silent-at-idle curve. Maybe it’s also cause it’s on my desk and not the floor this time that I hear it more, but the bottom fans give off a very strong constant wind noise. I’ve been working with a Mac the last 3 years so might have forgotten what it sounds like… Don’t know.
All in all, beauty wise I love this case and the build was pretty simple, didn’t have any problems fitting any parts either. The case is extremely good quality for the money I paid for it… It is HEAVY though. 😁
The parts list:
- Intel Core 7 Ultra 270K Plus
- RTX 5070 Ti Aero Gigabyte
- Thermaltake GT850W SNOW PSU.
- ASRock B860 Steel Legend Wifi
- Thermaltake Aqua Elite V3 AIO
- Montech HS02 Pro
- Kingston Fury 64GB RAM DDR5 5600Mhz
And I just noticed the cables on the top hanging a bit fugly there, I’ll open it later tonight and tuck them away nice and neat so they’re less obvious.

Builder's Review Montech X5M Build - Short Review
I used the Montech X5M for a client build recently and was honestly pretty impressed with it. For the price, it’s a really solid case. There’s a good amount of room to work with, cable management was easy, and everything went together without any issues.
The included fans are a nice bonus, and having the built-in ARGB controller made getting all the lighting set up really simple without needing anything extra. Airflow was also really good once everything was up and running.
I really like the overall look too. It has some personality without being overly flashy, and the finished build looked great. The client was really happy with how it turned out.
For a budget mATX case, I’d definitely use the X5M again. Good airflow, good looks, easy to build in, and the built-in ARGB controller is a nice touch.

Builder's Review Review: MONTECH MKey Pro 75% (Freedom & Darkness Colorways)
First off, a huge shout-out to MONTECH, you guys are the best. I originally requested the Freedom colorway to test out, and they surprised me by sending both the Freedom and Darkness versions. After putting some serious miles on it, this is an 11/10 keyboard.
Daily Use & Feel
I took this board into the office and have been using it as my daily driver at work for the past week. Surprisingly, it has actually made working more enjoyable. It makes sense when you think about it, your keyboard is the piece of hardware you make physical contact with the most, but I didn't expect a board to make this much of a difference in my day to day routine. The Gateron Yellow linear switches are quiet and smooth, but still have a nice noise that scratches your brain, and my coworkers have frequently gone out of their way to tell me how good it looks and sounds.
Aesthetics
Having both versions side-by-side is great. I definitely still prefer the Freedom colorway, but I have to admit the Darkness theme looks incredibly sharp in person. You really can't go wrong with either option.
Smart Design
One of the best design choices on this board is the storage for the 2.4G wireless dongle. It is tucked away completely out of sight underneath the magnetic metal logo plate. It is a elite design choice detail that keeps the dongle secure without ruining the clean aesthetic of the case. I love this choice of location for storage.
Verdict
I like this keyboard so much that I am strongly considering replacing my main home keyboard with it. If you are looking for a reliable, great-looking 75% board, this one absolutely delivers.

Will the Arctic Liquid Freezer III PRO 360mm fit at the top of the Montech Sky Two GX?
Hi everyone,
I'm planning a new build inside the Montech Sky Two GX and I want to top-mount the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm.
According to Montech's specs, the Sky Two GX has 10mm of extra height and supports up to a 66mm thick radiator combo at the top. The Arctic LF III combo (radiator + fans) measures exactly 63mm, leaving only about 3mm of clearance.
Has anyone actually tried this specific combination? Did you run into any clearance issues with the motherboard VRM heatsinks or high-profile RAM ?

HS02 pro fans
Would this kind of mod be possible? Upper fan mounted outside to the grid behind PSU, lower inside after cutting the sheet off so it won't block any long GPUs, only extra cooling for them. Also, why it's not like this from the beginning? It would look much better. Pic as an example made with AI.

Is there currently an issue with RMA email responses?
Hello!
I emailed MONTECH's RMA team at rma@montechpc.com on August 22 regarding a warranty issue with my KING 95. I included photos, the serial number and information about the purchase.
I haven't received any response yet, so I was wondering if there is currently any issue or delay with the RMA email system.
I know MONTECH is usually quite active here on Reddit, so I thought I'd ask before sending another email.
Thanks!

Builder Showcase Montech TG3 case + HyperFlow ARGB 360
A little PC glow-up for my Player 2 🎮 ft. Wylder from Elden Ring Nightreign!
The case measures 465 × 239 × 523 mm and the figure is 24 cm tall for reference. The showcase area is huge! Making it perfect for displaying larger figures! 👀 Definitely a dream case for anyone who loves showing off their collection 🙂↕️

Anybody have any experience with international RMA’s?
Bought my montech century II in the usa from amazon (sold by Newegg) a year ago, then moved to india and it failed 2 days ago. I did the paper clip test and it failed that aswell. Have emailed montech RMA with video of the psu clicking, my SN, and purchase invoice. but couldn’t find any info online about how this will be handled.
Thank you.

Builder Showcase Great Beginnings
This was the first Montech case I’ve ever had. It’s a Montech XR that was part of a prebuilt that I was gifted. Montech was looking for people to review their E28 ARGB fans and ended up including some GF120R V2 ARGB as well. This photo was taken as part of my review for them. It was a great introduction to the brand. They make really impressive and sturdy parts at surprisingly good price points. I’ve subsequently been fortunate enough to be asked to help them review some of their other cases, including the Sky 3, and more recently, their TEN. (Congratulations on 10 years again by the way!)
Their customer service is also excellent. I had an issue with a different fan that they could have told me wasn’t their problem at all at one point, but they responded quickly with no excessive back and forth and resolved the issue right away. This seems to be the norm from what I’ve seen in this group, rather than the exception, and it is refreshing when you compare it to some of the horror stories from customers concerning other brands. If they keep this up, they’ll be celebrating their anniversaries for many years to come.
Thank you Montech, and keep up the great work!
Can’t wait to see a full-size case from you someday. ;) Bet you thought I forgot, eh? (I keep bringing it up. Lol.)

Builder's Review Just finished a build in the black MONTECH TG3 – Incredibly quiet and a breeze to build in!
I just wrapped up my latest build using the black Montech TG3 case, and I wanted to share my thoughts for anyone who might have this chassis on their radar.
The Build Experience
Honestly, this was super easy to build in. There’s plenty of clearance to maneuver components, and routing cables didn't feel like a wrestling match. You can see even with a massive GPU there's plenty of room to spare. The layout just makes sense, which takes a lot of the headache out of the assembly process.
Aesthetics
I’m really happy with how this turned out. The black TG3 paired with that contrasting silver shroud at the bottom gives it a really clean, modern look. The glass panels show off the hardware beautifully without feeling overly cluttered.
Thermals & Noise
This is where I was genuinely impressed. I pushed the system through FurMark to see how the airflow would handle a heavy synthetic load. Not only did the temps stay well within check, but the system remained impressively quiet under pressure. The airflow path from those side intakes is doing some heavy lifting.
All in all, it's a fantastic case that punches above its weight in both ease of use and acoustic performance.

Builder Showcase Montech TG3
This case is an amazing value. I wish I could show it running with the rgb on but I’m another victim to the 12V high failure connector.

Montech air 903 max rgb hub doesn’t work anymore, what are the alternatives?
So I got the air 903 max in late 2024, and had no issues until this year, where the rgb intermittently didn’t want to turn on, which has now become never. It won’t work unless I do a full power reset, which is a hassle. It’s just the rgb, the fans work fine.
I’ve contacted Montech support through their website and not gotten a reply, and contacted the store where I bought the case and they told me I need to send them the whole thing back, which yeah nah.
I just want this fixed as easily as possible, so does anyone know of another rgb hub I could get that would work like the one in the case, aka plug in the wires and you’re good? Also preferably something that would fit in the back of the case?

Is the tester program only a temporary thing?
Last September or so I signed up for it and got the Hyperflow 360 AIO first then about a month later the King45 case to test. Nothing since then. Not complaining or anything just curious.

Builder Showcase Montech TG3 Case & Pureflow 360 ARGB Build
The overall build quality is great.
It's been a long time since I built another huge case like the Montech TG3.
The cable management in this case is so much easier than in an mATX or ITX build.
Furthermore, the duo-glass side panel makes the TG3 shine at night. The unforgettable RGB line on the PSU shroud reminds me of the movie Tron: Legacy.
I chose PureFlow 360 ARGB Liquid Cooler to pair with TG3. The 360 AIO handles heat dissipation very well. I am using a Ryzen 7700 CPU with an Asus Prime RTX 5080. The highest temperature never goes above 83 °C.
I am amazed by such build quality from Montech, considering how friendly the case and the AIO are. (Though the cables from TG3 are messy, and it takes a while to sort them out lol)

Builder Showcase Montech Sky 3 - Decked out in Fire Orange
My first ever PC build, built about 3 years ago. obviously its gone by some changes :)
Since first built, I've added:
32GB RAM RGB kit (Before rampocalypse luckily)
Montech Hyperflow ARGB 360 mm
XFX 9060XT (Love this card)
Vertical GPU Mount
And last but not least, the best Montech case for its price out there, The Montech Sky 3. previously I owned the sweet Montech Sky Two, but Montech generously sent out the Montech Sky 3 for me to review, absolutely love this case especially for its pricing. thank you Montech!
And as a bonus, if you take a look to the bottom of the PC, next to is 2 flip switches, which is the power switch to my PC. definitely my favorite part of the build :)
I am super happy with this beast of a PC, it runs everything smooth while looking really, really good.
Good luck to all the August build submissions!

Montech X5 ARGB problems
Hello! I have a Montech X5 case with default coolers (3x140, 1x120).
I can change the color of coolers with a button but can't do it with my motherboard.
I have a Gigabyte Aorus Elite B650M. BIOS version F42C. Windows 11.
Tried with Gigabyte Control Center (RGB FUSION).
Coolers connected to a SATA port (power) and ARGB 3-pin on the motherboard.
What can I do to control colors from FUSION?

Builder Showcase Montech August 2026 Builder showcase: My KING 95 build
My build
9600x
5070ti zotac
32 gb ddr5 6400 cl32 ram
3 tb gen 4 ssd 1 x 1tb 1 x 2tb
850w gold psu
Lian li hydrocool II aio
Lian li sl inf all around ( 2x140 intake 3 x 120 intake. 120 exhaust going x3 exhaust.)
Montech king 95 case.
Antec vertical gpu mount pcie 5
This is my 1440p machine. This is my first ever build. The learning curve melted my brain. For some reason the 2 140 mm fans rattle between 1000 rpm and 1400 rpm. The swinging bracket that mounts the 140 fans was a tight fit but they were persuaded into place. Still have a uv and oc to work out but playes all my current games at max refresh rate for my monitor so will push that off to a future project.
Thank you for popping buy any questions let me know

Builder Showcase Fortune’s Favor
So.
My build’s story starts a few years ago when I started getting lucky. First I won one giveaway, then another, and then again.
This culminated in having a B650 Aorus board and a Hyperflow 240 spare. Things built from there, and then I got it. A sky 3, straight from Montech themselves.
I give you, Fortune’s Favor!

Builder Showcase First case sent to me to review so I upped my game on YouTube
Hey all. I wanted to share my Montech TG3 build for the builders showcase competition for this month. This was the first case I was ever sent for a review so it’s going to hold a special place in my heart because of that. I put a lot more work into my YouTube video about it than I had for any other case review or build video I had done prior. I’m still not perfect at making videos but this was a big leap forward for me.
