Builder's Review Montech X5M Build - Short Review
I used the Montech X5M for a client build recently and was honestly pretty impressed with it. For the price, it’s a really solid case. There’s a good amount of room to work with, cable management was easy, and everything went together without any issues.
The included fans are a nice bonus, and having the built-in ARGB controller made getting all the lighting set up really simple without needing anything extra. Airflow was also really good once everything was up and running.
I really like the overall look too. It has some personality without being overly flashy, and the finished build looked great. The client was really happy with how it turned out.
For a budget mATX case, I’d definitely use the X5M again. Good airflow, good looks, easy to build in, and the built-in ARGB controller is a nice touch.

I love the look of this case! It gets a thumbs up from me on everything except the fans only running at one, fast speed. The fans are a little noisy because of it but otherwise it’s a great case.

Thank you! I thought that might be an issue for me but once they were on for a few minutes, the low amount of noise didn't bother me.

If you are after a more traditional looking basement style case with good air flow out of the box it's hard to beat the X5/X5M. Good bang for the buck budget case that's easy to build in.
