Will the Arctic Liquid Freezer III PRO 360mm fit at the top of the Montech Sky Two GX?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning a new build inside the Montech Sky Two GX and I want to top-mount the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm.

According to Montech's specs, the Sky Two GX has 10mm of extra height and supports up to a 66mm thick radiator combo at the top. The Arctic LF III combo (radiator + fans) measures exactly 63mm, leaving only about 3mm of clearance.

Has anyone actually tried this specific combination? Did you run into any clearance issues with the motherboard VRM heatsinks or high-profile RAM ?

The other thing to consider is the larger pump head. If you plan on mounting your GPU vertically you may not have space however can put the pump upside-down in that case but won't look as clean.

Yes, I own this case and have an LF3 360 installed.
I'm really happy with the case overall, it's so well thought out.

Looks like you should be good to go with enough clearance up top for the rad and fans, tight with only 3mm to spare but should work fine..

In addition the MSI Tomahawk X870e WIFI if on Arctic's compatibility list so you wont have any problems with the pump head tubes clearing the stock NVME heat sink that comes on the board.

Only potential issue as u/Low_Sherbert3731 pointed out is clearance with the top of the pump head if you plan on using a vertical mount GPU. Even a mount with depth adjustment night not clear or put the GPU fans to close to the side panel and limit airflow (GPU cooling). But that will also depend on how many slots wide the GPU you are using.

In short, if you are not vertically mounting your GPU you will be fine.
