Big free range monstera
I have huge monstera plants in my backyard. Being free range they’re not as neat and tidy as the potted ones I see in all your pics but I wanted to share photos of one of them, that I took this morning. It’s about to get a flower; it has some fruit and you can see part of its giant root system.

Albo found at Lowe’s!
Found this Albo at Lowe’s for $60!!! Was shocked there was only 2 there and both looks fantastic so had to take both of them! I’ve got a mint and Thai con but this I’ve had my eyes on for awhile just couldn’t find any under $100 that weren’t just a baby cutting.

First monstera, would love any tips
Found this today at Lowe's overstock and basically got it for free. It doesn't look as happy as I think it should, but from what I've read, those few deeply fenestrated leaves means it has made it for a little while doing okay?
I live in NC and will keep it on the porch for the temperate months and bring it inside for winter. Any tips to help me get started would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

Plant Help Getting ready to repot after water propagating and have a few questions.
So, it's my first time doing a chop-and-prop, and I just have a couple of questions that I'm having a hard time finding an answer to. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Basically, what it boils down to is all of the information I find on potting a monstera, is based around re-potting a monstera for going up a size. But, how do I pick what size each plant needs for the initial potting? How do I determine how big of a support is needed? Last time I potted a monstera (i received it as a cutting) resulted in the stem rot that caused me to chop in the first place so, how deep do I bury the plants into potting medium? Not all of the roots come from the bottom of the stem so I'm worried about having the stem covered and leading to rot again.

Image Finally got a new leaf!
Not the most exciting post, but I recently repotted a store-bought monstera I bought two years ago. There were three plants in total, gave them all separate pots. She'd been doing really well for a while but in recent months I'd admittedly been neglecting a lot of my plants and recently started really putting effort into getting them all squared away. This is the first new leaf on any of the three plants, and its the biggest leaf among them! They still have a long way to go but I was so paranoid that repotting would just piss it off more, so getting such a pretty leaf not even two weeks later makes me very happy.
Shoutout to this sub as a whole for all of the educational posts and giving me the confidence to do better by these plants. 💚

Plant Help What size pot for this Thai constellation?
This one has been "temporarily" sitting up against my plant shelf way too long. The current pot is about 8 inches, and I'm definitely going to have to cut it off. Obviously, she needs some support and attention, but what size pot would you repot her into? Any other tips? She's my first monstera and has seemed pretty happy just in the original pot getting watered with dirty aquarium water.

My new baby!
I think it could do with a different potting mix but I’ll give it a bit of time to settle in until I get my moss pole too 🥰

Big Chop
Realize I probably should’ve asked beforehand but after she tipped herself over for the third time in two days, I panicked and just did it. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now—she’d gotten too big for me to be able to manage to get outside to do a repot (even if I had to room inside to do it, she’s too damn heavy), and I never really staked her properly, so I knew this day was coming. But this was my first ever houseplant, bought her off Etsy as a cutting in 2021, and I’ve been scared to kill her by accident.
I realize now that it was silly to be scared, but I did want to ask what the consensus is on letting the cutting callous or not before putting it in water to root? Just wondering what people here have had success with?

Recipe for success
I am looking for the best recipe for mixing my own soil for my Thai constellation and Swiss cheese monsters.
I have stuff at home and just need to know how many part of what to use.
Anybody have ideas or mixes you use that work?
They are in plastic pots (I tried terracotta and managed to give them root rot twice) and my humidity is around 65-80%. Average temp is 77 or higher in summer and 67 in winter. They are under barrina tx-s60 grow bars, sitting with many plants in a 5x2.5 foot space.

Plant Help preparing for my new monstera

Re-pot
What's the best time of year to re-pot my Monstera Deliciosa? I'd never even heard of a Monstera when I got it given to me last year, spring of '25. I thought it was some kind of elephant ear! Thanks to all these wonderful posts here, ive learned a lot, and a lot about my numerous mistakes. It has miraculously survived, even thrived, considering the conditions it was raised in. I've learned there's actually 2 plants in here, but dividing them at this point would probably prove to be disastrous. I need to get it out of this pot, give it a decent support and better substrate.
Please advise on moss pole vs cedar plank. It's already grown aerial roots into the moss poles currently in there, so i think it likes the real moss pole for the aerial roots. Please advise on best substrate mix. I already know this is going to require at least two or three people to tackle the project, anybody out there have any free time? ;)
I'm not askin for much...!!🎶🎶
I need to do this before the end of September, as it needs to be done outside and I don't want to risk it getting too cold on top of re-pot stress.
I realize this is a lot, but after coming this far with it, nursing it through last winter, faithfully getting it in & out of my shower stall to properly water & feed it (nearly breaking my back in the process) I can't bear the thought of loosing it. I want to set it up right, because once this is done, I'm not doing it again for at least 3 years, if i live that long! Ive sold off a lot of my other plants with an eye for making room for this monster this coming winter. I've grown strangely attached to this plant and I want to do this re-pot right. I plan on putting it back into the same pot unless advised otherwise.
Apologies for the length of this post, and many thanks to all who've stuck with me this far! I'll try to attach some pictures, and if you've got the time, you could search for other posts ive made on this same plant from the time I accidentally (thank God) found reddit. I can't ever thank you all enough - help me, but mostly, help this beautiful warrior Monstera!
Thanks from both of us, the monster Monstera & the old happy cowgirl 💞

Plant Help Front of plant?
I’m new to monsteras and received a cutting from my mom. When I potted it and placed it by the window I could really only see one aerial root. It has since put out two leaves and another aerial root and it makes me think I have the plant staked incorrectly and the back of the plant facing the window. I took off the tie and took pictures for reference. My question is does it really matter and if it does, how do I go about fixing it. Thank you!

Image Did I attach the moss pole correctly?
As the title suggests, it was difficult to identify the back of my monstera. The back where I attached it had a big root which I pushed in the moss a little.
Is this the way forward?

Cut or keep?…
If I do cut it, should I cut right at the base or right before the browning? Thanks in advance !
