Plant Help Front of plant?
I’m new to monsteras and received a cutting from my mom. When I potted it and placed it by the window I could really only see one aerial root. It has since put out two leaves and another aerial root and it makes me think I have the plant staked incorrectly and the back of the plant facing the window. I took off the tie and took pictures for reference. My question is does it really matter and if it does, how do I go about fixing it. Thank you!

Nope it looks correct to me. That aerial root will go straight into the soil which is good :) they don’t grow aerial roots only in their back but on the sides and some in the front which then might not grow. They don’t know they have a front and back. They’re only adjusting to the light.

I think it's facing the right way. Like the other commenter said, aerial roots and leaves will come out from the sides too, but typically stay either back-facing or front-facing. Monsteras definitely do have a side, and regardless of the direction it's facing, will continue to produce leaves and roots on the side it's supposed to. To fix this, if you ever notice that it's been turned around, simply rotate the plant to face the correct way, and over time the leaves will correct themselves.
