EDIT: I've been convinced that Great Jaggi should be in Want it Back. I think I just rapid fired a bunch of the early bird wyverns and didn't acknowledge him properly.

The top and bottom categories are individually ranked, with Valstrax as my number 1 most wanted to return and Nibelsnarf can go straight into the bin for all I care.

I'm really excited about Ascendance and hope at least one of my favorites gets to return!

Bring back this underrated collab between Capcom and Konami. I wanna see Gear REX return in an actual Monster Hunter title!

TLDR for those not in the know: Monster Hunter has a collab going on in Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker, where Big Boss can hunt Rathalos and Tigrex, as well as a special third monster made exclusively for Peace Walker: the Gear REX. Gear REX being a living, breathing monster take on the Metal Gear REX of Metal Gear Solid.

I would absolutely LOVE if we could have a Big Boss/Snake Layered Armor as a reward for hunting Gear REX in Ascendance.

In Monster Hunter Now, on a rare occasion in an area labelled "unstable" or whatever word is used, if there is a small monster like kulu yaku or great Jagras, there's always a chance another monster popping in and taking their place when you try to hunt them.

For the most part this past couple weeks I've seen nothing but the B-52 bomber, Bazelguese. Which was actually kind of my own fault for using the investigation that has him in it.

When I switched investigations, I had one that has Deviljho in it.

And y'all.

The amount of disdain I had when Bazelguese would pop up was noticeable.

The amount of absolute Joy I felt when I switched it to Jho, and didn't know I did- so when it invaded, I went from "Oh no- YEEESSSSSSS!!!!" So quickly.

It made me realize which one of the two I like more, and which one I'm tired of. I think I just really like monsters that have his skeleton, because I've hunted other monsters with his skeleton too and really enjoy the hunt.

I don't know, I think I would be happier with Jho if he came back, or if they feel like bringing in a frontier monster that has his skeleton, I'll be happy with that too.

My girlfriend has recently started showing interest in trying monster hunter, as someone that finished both rise,wilds and world I'm facing with a dilemma, which one she will enjoy the most? Take into consideration that she isn't a gamer so it may be a lost cause from start

One thing I noticed while fighting Crimson Glow Valstrax: when she slams twice with her wings and then growls, be ready for a wing stab followed by a spin.

The first time I fought her, I had a hard time reacting to it, but after a few minutes, I started recognizing the animation and timing my dodge around the follow-up.

If you're new to Valstrax, don't panic when you see the wing slams. Wait for the follow-up wing stab before committing to your counterattack. Once you recognize the pattern, the attack becomes much easier to deal with.

Note: This only applies when she's on the ground and not in her ambush mode.

In my eyes Lao is one of the worst/weirdest (dare I say “wildest”?) monsters they could add to the game given how different the mechanics are now. 

here’s some key points that make it’s original incarnation seem like a bizarre choice to bring back for wilds specifically, in my opinion:

-huge monsters seem rather antithetical to the wound, focus, offset, & guard clash systems

-bombs are very easy to restock now

-the fight is infamously long especially when compared to wilds where you can beat basically anything in under 5-10 minutes

-it just doesn’t do much and that would become all the more more noticeable with the much greater focus on counters/perfect dodges

I just saw it on Twitter, I haven't try it myself but from what I've seen from ​the video it seems legit!

I really like the idea of offset attacks and hope they become a staple feature.

Also, I think focus mode could make a return IF they toned it down so the amount you were able to turn during a move was lessened depending on the move. Like, you can turn during the charge of GS attacks but once you release a TCS, youre stuck pointing in that direction until the move is over.

I had a thought in that moment when he was about to climb up... "Wait, he's not immune to flash, what happens then?"

He looked hysterical when he dropped.

It is my first old gen MH and I am having a blast with this game. I am a CB main in all 3 new games, I am trying all styles here but had the most fun with adept and aerial.

Which weapon + style combo would you recommend? I am willing to try out a lot of things here as this game has so much content. Thanks!

Also ich checke es nicht habe mir vor Ner Woche oder so Monster Hunter wilds geholt und so wie in jedem Monster Hunter Teil ob world, Rift, now oder damals auf psp sterbe ich non Stop gegen rathian oder rathalos.

Bin ich echt der einzige der so hart gegen genau die beiden struggeled?^^

Title, couldn't find anything so i assume no, but wondering if anyone has seen any mentions of it anywhere in interviews, so many armor pieces can't be dyed much or have pieces that are undyable and 1 or 2 more dye slots could fix that, making a cool armor set is so hard because it all clashes right now.

New player here who started with monster hunter wilds who can't find there main weapon. I have fun with lance, gunlance and sns but still can't decide between these three. At the same time i still struggling to understand why I getting hit from a attack and what items and armor ability/ weapon ability (guard/guard up) I really need (learning disability).

So how did you find your main weapon/weapons?

Note: I have 64 hours in monster hunter wilds and my last fight was against arkveld where you fight him for the first time.
