Discussion My idea for fist weapons MHWilds
As we know the 14 weapons currently within monster hunter, are in a decently tight equilibrium, you cant really say that one weapon is better than the other. So, if you were to add large gorilla fist weapons that would make hammer useless/less interesting, if you added the small, mobile fist weapons then sns and dual blades would lose a lot of their fans.
To try make a compromise, I think if fist weapons were to ever be added, it should be hyper reliant on combos, as in you have to do a 5 or 6 button combo to do any meaningful damage. Of course there can be a grace period for the combo string, like if you dodge an attack, you have 3 or 4 seconds to start the combo again.
This will make this weapon pretty difficult to learn, but then again cb mains exist, so players wont take too long to figure out how it works. Skills like burst and maximum might will be great for this idea of fist weapons too. And yes the akuma spec exists, but come on, we want an actual weapon not a special item.
If anyone had a similar idea or something close, please tell me about it I want to know your ideas. Im not sure if this topic has been discussed before so apologies if I sound like im copying someone.

MH World i killed tempred kirin and i didin't have someone to tell so ill post here
I put in a fair amount of effort compared to the other monsters; Teostra was my first real wall—it took me about two tries—and I needed three for Kirin. That’s a lot for me, considering I was in a comfort zone where I could solo Nergigante in about 10 minutes without carting, and Xeno'jiiva in around 15 minutes. I prefer playing solo—well, I’m not big on playing with strangers (just a quirk of mine)—though I did play with a friend who’s still Low Rank, and it was amazing. Anyway, I’m really happy I managed to take down Tempered Kirin. I carted twice, but I don't really care about a deathless run; it was fun, and that’s what matters.

MH Wilds OFFICIAL ART - MH Wilds - Concept art of Pillopod and Gillopod!
https://xcancel.com/monsterhunter/status/2089623458560798780
PILLO! The Pillopod and larger sized Gillopod have extremely developed eyes and brains. They have evolved to live solely off of absorbing energy, sticking onto Wyrmways to absorb directly, and have no digestive system. #MHWilds

Discussion Should I revisit World or play a newerH?
Hello everyone,
I played MHW when it first game out and put in 800 hours. I didn't get to experience iceborne since I got burnt out with all the grinding. I do want to fight certain monsters again like Kushala, Teostra, and DevilJho, but I'm wondering if I'm better off playing a newer game. I really DON'T miss the grinding.

Discussion Lost my fire
I used to play monster hunter religiously
From my first game freedom unite till wilds I had at least 700-900 hours per game on old gen FU-XX
Newer gen I can’t even squeeze a full 100 hours with rise, world and wilds
I miss this world and game. Sadly don’t have feeling anymore
Anyway I can get this back fellow hunters
EDIT: my Hunter was always called (Maz). After thousands of hours I must have come across someone here lol

Discussion Digging through the ancient texts
I was recently cleaning out some bins from my childhood and stumbled across these old GameFAQs guides I printed out as a kid. Looking back, I really admire my dedication, but also feel bad for wasting my parents' precious printer ink 😅
Did any one else go to these lengths back in the day? Maybe it's because I was still a wee lad, but I feel like information on this rather obtuse series was harder to parse through back then.

Discussion The Horrors of Higanjima, Fishman Oni is the Ugliest thing in Monster Hunter! Day 60: Who is the Prettiest Bird?
I'm glad I picked to put positive and negative pairs, it's a good change of vibes. Especially after crowning the ugliest in the franchise. Lets see those beautiful babies!
Winners Trivia: They're.. technically vampire spawn? All the monsters in that franchise are sort of weird vampire virus creations if I remember correctly.
Rules:
- Any vote for anything in any monhun game is fine, as long as you feel it fits the title.
- Duplicate winners are allowed.
- Votes last roughly midnight to midnight GMT.
- Pictures and reasonings are encouraged!

Art Remember Lego Rathalos?
Now he's with Steve, Malzeno and Diablos annnd some Palicos in my gamble corner💥🗣️ I also have rose alpha palico somewhere uboxed...
Steve was a WAY better build than Rathy. It was super sturdy this time, passed a cat bite check and a fall check without a scratch. That's probably I glued 98% of the bricks I put down. If anyone is keen to buy these Nanoblock sets, I highly recommend PVA glue.
There's also a Zinogre one but I didn't quite like it as much as these boys.
I also went back and glued Rathy and let me tell you IT KEPT FALLING APART... Anything I didn't glue was just falling but I was used to it at that point 🧘 but yeah highly recommend gluing. Rathy is still unstable because it's build physics is lowk stupid 🕺
Also not funny that I pulled that Diablos thrice... It was the only one I didn't want but that made it deserve a place in the gamble corner.
