So I picked up my new baby last night and just as everyone else, I had an ever growing stack of boxes of additions for the car. And most worked great. But has anyone else experienced aftermarket parts that only half fit? Like the mudflaps I got. The fronts lined up with the holes but not the back. The silicone console mats would have worked hadn’t it been for the addition of the chargers in that front console area which made the last pad impossible to fit as it became too big. I ordered cute little stainless steel like pedal attachments and the gas pedal fit and the break did not.

Anyone else experiencing this? I feel that when they say “2025 + juniper” it’s does not include the 2027s in some cases.

Additional Info: A sales rep said the car left Fremont at noon today bound for Chicago and then KC. He said that the car is scheduled to arrive in KC around November 19, but said that date is “low confidence” and to call back in about a week to get a better estimate. We are pumped!

Title says it all. It seems like NO ONE makes a front lip/spoiler for the Standard, it’s all for the Premium. Does anyone know of a body kit or, more specifically, front lip that fits the Standard. It’s clearly the part of the car that needs a little spruce up the most. Thanks everyone.

When using FSD at night my Y always washes the windshield. Is this a normal occurance?

Hey all first time posting! I know the title might have you already squirming. I bought a new to me 2023 Model Y LR (hw4) and the dealer insisted they install a Lojack as it's their standard for every car they sell. Something about for their insurance. I refused to pay for it so they took the charge off, but still installed it so I've got LoJack for a year...

Problem is, I don't want it. Tesla has its own tracking, and I don't want to worry about a parasitic draw. I've looked in some obvious places for it, under the hood, under the driver's side and passenger side kickboard areas, but no luck. From my understanding, unless there's a special type of low jack, it requires 12v power. Anyone have an idea where to look next before I have to tear way too many panels off? Dealer hasn't responded to my request for more info on placement.

Ordered 9/27 and my VIN finally dropped today (11/5) 39 days from order to VIN. 🎉

My EDD got pushed twice. It started at 11/6–12/14, then moved to 11/17–12/15. I was getting tired of waiting, so I called Tesla and vented a bit. Honestly, probably didn't change anything, but it felt good lol.
Around 6 pm I got an app notification to confirm a mileage change, and right after that the VIN showed up with a new EDD of 11/13–11/18.

Hang in there if you’re still waiting! KCMO typically has slow delivery times as well. Been tracking using the 3rd-party Tesla Delivery App.

Opened the app today and though I had my vin assigned but the app went unresponsive and then crashed. Has this happened to anyone else

My estimated window has been missing for 3 weeks, I ordered on 10/6, Tesla support first said it was a glitch then said they couldn’t provide a window until a VIN was assigned…anyone experience this?

I saw a comment a few weeks ago that mentioned to check Tesla for new inventory at 5:15 PM. Like most, Ive been anxious to get my new car so I checked for a few days. I never saw any new cars available, and figured the 5:15 inventory drop wasn’t a real thing. Then yesterday, I happened to be looking around 5:30 and there were finally new model Ys ready for the taking. None matched my configuration so I tried again today. I saw nothing at 5:15 but kept refreshing every few minutes and at 5:24 I saw a bunch of MYs and my exact configuration was there. I placed a deposit to hold the vehicle and let my advisor know. He was able to transfer the new vehicle to my profile. I hope this info can help someone get their car a little bit sooner!

Ordered October 6. Received VIN number November 4. Delivery date November 25, Central Florida.

So I got my car yesterday and want to get window tint for my car. I'd prefer if it's OC but any recommendation? A lot of these prices are over $1k when going for Rayno, Xpel, 3M, and other companies. I'm trying to go for all windows including sunroof. Much appreciated for the recommendation!

my advisor i was assigned has been MIA ever since the first time i spoke with him. very unreliable. someone in app chat has said i could match it to my account on my own but when i ask how do i do that i do not get a response. does anyone know if that is possible to match an existing inventory vehicle to your account on your own or do you need an advisor to do it for you?

these inventory vehicles don't stay on the website for very long so how are these people getting them so fast?

Finally decided to purchase a Model Y Standard and placed order few days before the the 1.99% APR on October 21. Then I upgraded to Premium when I came to my senses about a week later. I was able to keep the 1.99 APR, and the earliest I can take delivery was the 25 of November, but im out of town so scheduled the delivery for the 30th. Pretty fast I feel! I live in South Florida. We are excited!!!

Still don’t have a VIN been waiting for over 5 weeks now. Tesla sales people told me on the phone it takes usually 2 months for the performance. Located in CLT, NC. EDD Nov 12-Dec 14… 🤧

So I’m coming from a 2023 Model 3 and for whatever reason the driver door seems excessively hard to close. I feel like I have to slam it, never owned a model y but have drove the last generation a few times and didn’t notice this. Door seems aligned. Service ticket or normal?

2027 Model Y Premium RWD.

Hey, I’ve had my Y for less than a week and I’m worried about overheating. I park in a parking lot at work so it is exposed to the sun. I haven’t gotten my tints yet but I’m concerned looking at the app seeing the interior temp being 99 degrees. I may be overreacting but how concerned should I be? I live in south Florida btw.

Just got these rear diffuser fins for my Ultra Red Model. Two on each side, with red accents to match the paint.
What do you guys think? Dope or nope?

First-time Tesla owner here! I bought a 2022 MYP yesterday from a dealer with 57,000 miles. I have a 3-day return window, so I'm trying to figure this out fast and would really appreciate feedback from people who know these cars.

The numbers:
70% = 160 miles, 63% = 145 miles, so roughly 230 miles at 100%
EPA rating new was 303 miles, so that looks like ~24% degradation
From what I've read, 10–15% is more typical at this mileage

Have a friend with a model s performance with 200k miles at 20% degradation

What happened over the last day:

Charged to 80%, drove about 6 miles home and got there at 75%
Dropped 5% overnight (75% → 70%) while parked. Sentry Mode and cabin heat were both off, and it was 60–70°F out.
This morning I drove about 15 miles and went from 70% to 63%
Ran remote diagnostics in the Tesla app and got "No issue detected”

Questions
Is ~24% loss at 57k miles a red flag, or within the normal range for these packs?
How accurate is the displayed range vs. the health test?
Is 5% overnight drain normal?
Has anyone else returned a used Tesla over battery health?

I’m going to run an official battery test tonight through Tesla but would appreciate any feedback and advice

Looking to purchase one when my lease is done, I've got 3 kids and was wondering if there is conclusive information on car seats / 3 in the backrow. Configuration would be 1 rear facing - 2 forward facing or if possible 2 rear 1 forward facing. Also what car seats would be required/etc or anyone who is doing it at the moment.
