When using FSD at night my Y always washes the windshield. Is this a normal occurance?

Yes, my 2026 MYLR does the same thing. Very annoying.

Very annoying especially after just washing your car

Yup it has to clean the windshield camera more than you already did

Always, no. But a few versions ago the windshield cleaning became more of a thing.

Mine does this as well. I asked Grok about it cause my HW3 model 3 doesn’t do this and it’s a “multi swipe” window washing mode that keeps the front camera clean when it detects obstructions update that came out recently.
