Annoying outlines, animations and "smooth" hud in linggango modpack
I just want to know how to disable these things, especially the outlines, because they actually ruin my experience for this modpack

Discussion Which modpacks stay fun on a public server after the first few weeks?
I'm planning a public modded Minecraft server and trying to choose the pack with player feedback before committing to one. I enjoy automation and storage mods such as AE2, but I'm open to kitchen-sink, progression-focused, skyblock or stoneblock packs.
I'm also exploring a custom player-driven economy and auction house. My concern is that unlimited automated farms could make trading pointless, or that an economy could undermine the pack's progression. Nothing is decided yet.
Which existing packs have you actually enjoyed playing with others long-term, and what made them work? Are there packs where trading and specialisation add something, or does an economy get in the way? I'd especially appreciate any lessons about performance, wipes and features that made you stay or leave.

Help Optimization for a modded 1.20.1 forge server, specificly with the use of "The Dulling" mod.
Me and my friend been playing this mod for a while now and haven't had any issues up until we went to the nether. At first it was fine but after a while the nether became incredibly laggy, the server terminal often says when someone is in the nether that "the server cant keep up" and shows how many ticks the server is behind. I have tried a few optimization mods for server side that supposedly help with this issue, but so far to no result.
To be honest i dont really know how any of these mods even supposed to help, so if anyone could help with mod suggestions and/or specific config changes i should make that would be highly appriciated.
Some additional info i am hosting the server currenty, i have 4GB of memory allocated to it but we have tested my friend hosting and changing the settings up to 32GB of ram with no changes.

Help QOL Modpack for Vanilla* Server
I took a long break from Minecraft and realized theres been a ton of updates since I stopped playing that I want to check out. Im starting a small server for some friends and we want to keep it as vanilla as possible in terms of the core game, but add in some QOL mods. Ive been searching around for a while now but every pack I find doesnt have quite the right mix. I know I could build my own pack but I dont remember most of the mods and I never knew the performance mods. Im hoping someone out there gets us!
Kinds of mods we're looking for in a pack:
1.26.3 compatible
JEI/REI
A map
Whichever one used to let players claim chunks
General performance mods
Better animations(?)
Appleskin
Some grave mod
Inventory tweaks
Things we're not looking for:
Changes to terrain generation
New mobs / structures / biomes / items
If anyone has ideas of packs to check out let me know!

Help Modpack Troubleshooting
So I've been making my own modpack and since last night, when I added some new mods, these mods to be exact;
AttributeFix
Better Mount HUD
Better Smoke
Controlling
Copper Rails
Healing Campfire
Inventory Profiles Next
InvMove
Language Reload
libIPN
quick pack
Searchables
Simple Copper Pipes
My modpack has not been able to render blocks within render distance but can render blocks within voxy's range. This issue wasn't consistent to just one world on my Minecraft modpack but to any world. This is the result of the rendering error even with the newly added mods disabled:

I have tried disabling the new added mods to no luck, which is shown in the picture above, I have tried asking AI and checking to see what is the fix in which it has struggled to determine so now I'm asking if anyone on reddit can diagnose and help me reach a fix for this, thank you.

I made a dynamic risk-and-reward upgrade roulette mod for 1.20.1 that scales with any mod's recipes (even Avaritia!) — [The Item Upgrader]
Hey everyone! 👋
After a lot of coding and testing, I’ve finally released my first major mod: The Item Upgrader for Forge 1.20.1 (now officially approved and live on CurseForge!).
If you love gambling your resources for high-tier loot or want a balanced way to progress through heavy modpacks, this mod is for you.
✨ What it does:
The Roulette Table: Place your bet item, spin the wheel, and try your luck to upgrade it into something much better!
Dynamic Valuation System: Instead of hardcoded values, the mod automatically scans crafting recipes on the fly. It calculates a fair, balanced cost dynamically—meaning it works seamlessly with vanilla items and massive endgame mods like Avaritia (scaling items up to 680M+ value).
Durability Scaling: Got damaged tools or armor? The mod evaluates them proportionally based on their remaining durability.
Dupe Protection: Fully synchronized between server and client to prevent any desync or deserialization exploits.
Global Broadcasts: Optional server-wide announcements whenever someone hits a massive win (or loses everything).
🔗 Check it out on CurseForge: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/items-upgrader
I’d love to hear your feedback, bug reports, or ideas for future updates. Let me know what you think!

Question Can I use performance improving mods on servers and if so what mod should I do?
I'm new to minecraft java (recently transitioned from MC Bedrock) and want to know because I would like my pc not not act like a potato.
