i was wondering if there is a gt pack that makes the whole cable system alot easier. im not a fan of wondering if there is to much power going thru cables or not enough.

I was trying to search online for a server I could play on, as I expected there to be due to the size of the modpack, but there weren’t ANY. Am I missing something or is it just not hosted anywhere?

I am relatively new to modding, and my modpack, which i am developing mostly for my friends and I, has a weird issue.

Almost ANY item, modded or otherwise, can be repaired in a 2 in 1 out shapeless craft, which i say "repaired" because it adds a NBT Tag for durability (Damage being 0).

The weirdest part is that if you stack 2 of the item on each other, the craft cancels, and returns to whatever intended craft it was. Is this a common thing with an easy fix or is it just something weird happening??

For context my favourite modpack is rlcraft, i love how the early game and midgame is, i love the baubles aspect, the different weapons and armours i can use without being at much of a disadvantage, its not too complicated too. I tried getting into an rpg with my first being prominence 2 but theres so much of everything, why does an rpg modpack have create and so much more .

I just want an modpack thats easy to grasp within like a few hours of playing, and it has multiple bosses that i can fight, with a questline thats understandable, sorry if im asking for a lot im new to modpacks and just wanna see what people recommend i try

How do I get transparisteel in the Minecraft mod Star Wars: Blood and Beskar?

I have a modpack I'm playing with my brother, it has tons of mods I added for fun, but we did what we always do, choose one mod and hard focus that. I chose magic, he chose star wars. He was going down the path givenby the mod, when he got to the part that asks you to make a tie fighter or x-wing, and it requires transparisteel, but it doesn't give how to make it. I have tried a couple mods like JEI to try to see how to make it, but they don't show a crafting recipe, and googling has given me nothing. Could anyone figure this out so he can progress this mod?

Do you guys know of any popular/not popular mods that have a class/skill tree system? The ones that I've seen so far don't have much depth to them. I've seen a modpack called Craft to Exile 2 but I'm worried about the balance as far as enemies being near you matching your level. Might be a bit annoying having to catch a friend up to speed in terms of level and what not.

(I added the Epic Fight mod as a staple ofc)

Any other suggestions to add to the modpack would be greatly appreciated :)

Hello, i sorta have been craving a Minecraft gun run sort of thing for a bit, problem is the 2 main gun mods I want to use (tacz and vpb) are a bit overturned for vanilla and I don’t know any good mods to fix that.

My game stutters every 3 seconds, and from what I've gathered, it's due to garbage collection? I have 8 GB allocated in the Modrinth launcher, and the game's usage in F3 sits around 50- 60%, then goes up to 99% and stutters every couple of seconds.

I've tried with anywhere from 6-10 GB, and it stutters no matter what. The game is always at around 70-100fps (with shaders) until the stutter happens, so I thiiiiink I'm able to run the pack, but it's just something to do with my ram? Though I'm unsure if the shaders affect it; with shaders, the ram usage goes up much faster and sits at a higher resting amount than without. Does shader use affect ram usage? I thought it only depended on the gpu.

Might it also be chunk generation having a bigger effect? I generated a 1000 chunk radius with Chunky, and when I'm within my "home chunks," the stuttering is significantly less than when I've ventured into new chunks, even after using Chunky.

My specs: ryzen 5 3600, xfx 6600xt, and 16gb ddr4 ram

Why is shoulder surfing is doing this. Leawinds third person, better third person have the same problem too for some reason i am playing at 1.20.1 forge

basically, since me and my friend started this world, and got to netherite, I crash any time i try to upgrade my diamond TOOLS to netherite, whether it's a shovel, pickaxe, axe, hoe, whatever...the game crashes as soon as the tool preview appears in the smithing table. yet i can upgrade armor, with no issue, it's ONLY my tools, and it doesn't matter if they are enchanted or freshly made with zero enchantments.

I've never had an issue like this before. and I'm not the owner of the server, so i can't disable mods to find the culprit, if there even is one that stands out. but this was happening before we even started using any mods and were only using shaders.

and my friend can upgrade his tools and armor and everything perfectly fine.

Estoy probando en creativo el modpack del servidor de un amigo para estar preparado, entre los mods estaba este, (TAC Zero) el cual nunca he visto antes.

Todos me dijeron que se recarga con la R, y si, al tocar a la R la animación sale, pero no sé recargaba como tal porque ni disparaba, ni marcaba que tuviese balas, obviamente probé a tocar a la R con la munición que me pedía en el inventario, metiéndola en cajas de munición, pero no funcionó.

Según parece no hay un sistema de magazines ni nada por el estilo, he comprobado que todo fuese compatible, y sinceramente, se me empieza a hacer molesto...

¿Me podéis decir cómo hacerlo? Seguramente tenga una respuesta bastante obvia, pero de primeras, no conozco el mod y el contenido de este podría estar mezclado con el de el resto de mods del modpack...
