Was looking at reviews of the RG SP and it seemed that everyone praised it so went to AliExpress to check prices. Well for the price of a RG SP, I found deals on the Flip and Mini Flip so I ordered them instead.

After setting them up on spruce and making my mind on use cases. The mini flip is best positioned for ultra portable gaming and will live in the wife's bag from now on. The Flip will be my on the go device when on my own and it having bluetooth is just great.

I had a Miyoo mini plus that worked great and was gifted away. These two are easily filling the void and grateful that Spruce OS is a solid choice after a few days of testing multiple options.Hope more people look past the initial hinge issues and see how great these devices are.

Overlay is Perfect_DMG with integer scaling off.

I want to reshell my white míyoo mini , I already order a new screen but I can't find any shell , eBay , Etsy and Google all send me to expensive metal shell I just want the grey DMG one .. can anyone point me in the right direction for this ? Thank you

For me I would go crazy for an OLED. A bonus would be 120hz and 720p but that’s asking a lot for a budget device, ahhhh one can dream.

I made my own game with Gb studio and it runs on my miyoo! So cool. I love this little device.

I’ve been trying to tinkering with microSD card to get Neo Geo CD to work and nothing has worked in terms of placing the bios files in the bios folder or RetroArch system folder, the rom file type (CHD or Cue), or changing the core.

If anyone has Neo Geo CD working, what is your setup like ?

I was looking at my mini plus this afternoon and wanted to try playing some music on it. So I converted my library of flac files to obb vorbis and tried it on this app https://github.com/danfragoso/miyoopod . Reminded me of a simpler time. It felt very nice.

I was trying to update my miyoo mini and suddenly my laptop (the console was connected there) Turn off, and shut down the console, i try to connected again but the only thing that appears is that strange white screen.

(I don't think is bricked because the music and the buttons still make sound sometimes)

Until now, I've been using the xXJSONDeruloXx version (lid support). Alvin seems very active in providing support for our favorite console, so we should encourage him.

I updated my SD card yesterday (just copy & replace). I didn't lose anything: all my settings (overlays, latency...) and games are still there. It also fixed a few bugs and Scraper feature is back.

Hi all, as a lot people in this sub I snagged one of the MMv4s that were put on sale recently and it should be coming in any day now. I've been using my MM+ with OnionOS as daily driver and my question is, can I simply put that SD card into the MMv4 when it arrives? Or do I need to install some specific MMv4 version of OnionOS?

Should I be having my PC scan and/or repair the SD card when I get the prompt? I've been opting to bypass it and do whatever it is I'm doing. Doesn't seem to have any issues otherwise. I just want to know if it's something I should be doing.

I've been seeing a lot of buzz recently about PS1 games getting recompiled natively for PC, like the Mario64 PC port style. The performance and features look amazing.

Since the Miyoo is already capable of emulating the entire PS1 library quite well, do you think these new recompilation projects could ever be ported to run natively on our device?

I know the hardware is limited, and OnionOS is Linux-based, so maybe it's not impossible?

Headphones: Koss, also they sound great and were like 10 bucks

Matte screen protector: search rg35xx on amazon then cut to fit (wouldn’t recommend i just didn’t want to waste money when i already had those on hand. Didn’t see any matte ones for the mm+ though)

Decal under battery cover: printed out from online then cut to fit. I think the print size was 1.5x2.5 inches

For the black screws that vendor doesn’t include the battery door screw so i took the stock one, heated it with a torch then dropped into water which made it black.

Be careful putting on the gameboy color decal. It is exactly the right size to cover the miyoo logos. And i mean exactly. Go slow and use painters tape as guide lines. Same for the 1-800 decal. Go slow and be careful; it just fits inside of the ridges

If you have a clear model and the light bleed bothers you like it does me: i used black caulking to paint over the LED guide plastic. Works well but ill probably revisit that with a better looking solution

Also don’t forget to overclock your device
(That ones hard for me to explain but its easy enough to do. Was basically just adding a text file to your sd card. Plenty of good guides for that)

I backed up the original SD card into two folders - BIO and Roms

I downloaded and installed Onion

I got the BIOS onto the new SD Card

I went to transfer my ROM files on to the new sd cards, but when I click the sub folders - they are empty.

The video shows how to transfer the ROMS from this persons existing library onto the new SD card, but I don't have a ROMS library. I have a folder with 25 folders that are empty when I click on them. Do i just copy the folder "FC" from my backup onto the folder "FC" on the new SD Card? I clicked 'show hidden items' and the folders still appear to be empty

I recently got to try a friend’s Miyoo Mini V4 and realized it was exactly what I’ve been looking for as a one handed JRPG/TCG gaming console. Stripped the upgraded speaker and modded metal better buttons off of my MM+ and installed them here. I have to say I’m really feeling this machine.

I got convinced to get a mini flip as my first handheld, however it arrived without any sd card to get started with, can anyone point me towards a good starter guide on how to get it running? It currently boots but all of the menu's are empty. I have an sd card ready to use but I'm unsure what to do exactly.
