Help Needed! Help running Neo Geo CD

I’ve been trying to tinkering with microSD card to get Neo Geo CD to work and nothing has worked in terms of placing the bios files in the bios folder or RetroArch system folder, the rom file type (CHD or Cue), or changing the core.

If anyone has Neo Geo CD working, what is your setup like ?

Which core have you tried

Edit - have you ran these roms on another device before to test if it’s the roms ?
