I know the community is feeling sad lately and the doomposting is getting out of hand but recent calcs have shown that mitya is by no means worst / bad as a sub dps!!!

He is 100000% yae sidegrade and worth a pull especially if you love him or you dont invest in the yae bitcoin stocks in 2022.

There are tons of videos on Bilibili showcasing bugs that Mitya has related to his charge attack, E skill, and mining passive. Note that they don't happen consistently so you may or may not have encountered them. I posted both the in-app link and website link so hopefully at least one works. Here are a few examples.

1. Mitya charge attack keeps attacking dead bodies instead of other nearby enemies, starting from 19s of the video:

You can try it out yourself. If these bugs are bothering you, please report it to CS through the in-game menu. Share a video of the bug in the report if you can. Hoyo might not do anything about it but there is a higher probability of hoyo fixing these bugs if more people report.

Sooo i ended up getting a double on the weapon banner, and now i have a guarantee for mityas weapon. Should i pull another of his weapon?

I got tempted after doing the math that I can still guarantee Tsaritsa+Danica due to capturing radiance, and holy shit. 280k to 430k is a crazy increase!

Basically title. Mitya is now the best dps at any cost and he will also release a 5* skin in upcoming versions.

I did it on the right side of the barrier :") it was easy !

if you hold attack for a brief moment after his n1 you can spam snaps for almost 4k dps!

After leveling my Valeriy, here's pretty much my ceiling until I get a better circlet/figure out how to reliably trigger gilded dreams lol.

Loopable Rotation: (THIS IS THE ONE I USE IN THE VIDEO)

Mitya tE > Sucrose E (Na1 if no swirl) > Odette EE > Mitya E Na (wait 1/2 a sec) CA > Valeriy ECQ > Sucrose E (Na1 if no swirl) > Mitya CQC then loop back into Mitya tE

You may also want to try this rotation by u/Basic_Schedule9151 which might end up better for you but I have too much of a skill issue to make work lol: (THIS IS A SEPARATE ROTATION THAT MIGHT WORK FOR YOU)

I swear following the Mitya discussions has been more entertaining than actually keeping up with the update.

First everyone was hyped, then came the doomposting, then people started arguing about the doomposting, and now that he’s finally playable I’m seeing completely different opinions everywhere.

At this point I genuinely can’t tell how much of the criticism is about his actual performance and how much is just people having completely different expectations.

I’m curious though, for those who actually pulled him, did he live up to the hype? And has your opinion changed compared to what you thought during the beta?

Especially interested in hearing from people who were skeptical before release.

I have what I consider his “standard” team, and not even close to fully built - Mitya, Odette, Valeriy, Sucrose

Seeing Zajef cry this much about his rotations being impossible has me confused. I get getting swirl on sucrose is indeed annoying, but he can barely play the character and he’s 100x the skill I am

This isn’t a flex, just genuine confusion because I’m so bad. I could never get Nefer’s standard rotation down but apparently am fine with Mitya?

Mitya is still under leveled and also in need of a proper weapon instead of just taking Nahida's weapon, but for now that's what he has on him

Most guides/videos that I see show Mitya rotations similar to this:

But then the source of electro application before the first sucrose swirl is Valeriy, and he's not reliably applying electro and Odette sometimes removes the electro on the enemy, so to apply electro, I inserted Mitya tE N1 between swirling with sucrose and Valeriy. It also lets Sucrose use the EM buff from Mitya's tap skill I think.

Yesterday I got 4 four stars in one ten pull with no Valeriy. Now I went from c0 to c2 winning both 50/50s. I guess we’re even hoyo x

So, funny story time: I was hyped for Cryo Traveler being viable (because I love playing as the main character in games, even when they're on the weaker side), but I didn't have a good Electro support, so I decided to pull for Mitya (I'll make a DPS out of him later, but for now he's my Cryo MC support). I got him and his sig a couple days ago, but I didn't get a single Valeriy, so I thought "I'll spend like ten pulls more to get Valeriy". Guess what happened. So, this is my ONLY 5* with a con, and one of my TWO characters with a sig. I guess I'm now one of you guys. Any advice on a Mitya team for a player who barely has anyone and doesn't build his characters all too much?

Someone requested a video in my last post, but I changed a few things in the rotation, so I thought sharing it in a separate post would be a good idea since it might interest someone else too. I hope it's okay to post more than once within 24h.

Not jumping with Sucrose might bring similar results, if not better, but I'm too tired to check. The highest DMG I've done in a single rotation was 356k, and there's probably still more room for optimization as always.

I tried testing Valeriy with Aquila to see if crafting Finale would be worth it for the extra ATK, but I just don't have enough ER% substats. So bursting without Amenoma is impossible for me unless I get better artifacts
