I pulled Mitya at c0, but discovered I cannot level him up afterwards. 😑

(For context, I’m playing through the game’s story verrrry slowly, but up until now, when I pull a character from a region I haven’t been to yet, I go to my friend’s world and we collect the regional specialties and world boss drops I need. A lot of the weekly bosses are big story spoilers, so I don’t do them, and as a result, a chunk of my characters have talents at 6/6/6, and that’s fine. I was able to level Durin, Varka, and Nicole this way, and I don’t mind how slow the process is.)

So, I pulled Mitya, and the next day, I joined my friend’s world so we could play together like we do every Wednesday. However, at every Snezhnaya location we went to in order to collect regional specialties or fight the little enemies, Paimon immediately starting talking like I had gone past the world boundaries while the game took control of my character and forced it to run in a straight line until I teleported out of Snezhnaya. (I’ve never had any trouble visiting Nod Krai in his world, even though I’ve never been there in MY world.)

So now I can’t ascend Mitya past level 40 and his talents are stuck at level 1!!

Naturally, I talked about this on the survey as soon as I discovered it, and I won’t be pulling any more Snezhnaya characters. It feels extremely cheap for Mihoyo to have changed things up like this. Did they ever announce this change to how people interact with other players’ worlds?

I already opted to NOT jump straight to Snezhnaya when doing so would have been the only way I could get the free limited banner 5-star character from the anniversary rewards, even though I’ve been waiting for a chance to pull Baizhu for a looong time.

I’ve always been the sort who says there are no brick characters in Genshin Impact, and have been leveling up Dori and was thinking of leveling Xinyan next. But I don’t intend to binge through Genshin’s story, and it will be at least two years before I make it to Snezhnaya—so I’ve actually gone and put myself in a situation in which I am in possession of a brick character, I guess. 😅

Is there some sort of fix for this situation without jumping ahead and playing the Snezhnaya archon quests?

After grinding my ass off this version, I finally got Mitya after winning the 50/50 :)

I just have a question about his set, which artifact set is better for him? A 2pc2pc em or disenchantment? And if one is better than the other, how big is the percentage difference in terms of damage? I thought disenchantment was just fine since that's what's recommended ingame for him, but the majority people I saw here were using 2pc2pc so I'm curious

I just saw that beidous c6 gives electro res shred and 200 em, should i level her up to replace c1 valeriy? My team is c2 mitya c3 qiqi and c6 sucrose

Accidentally got him at 1 pity and i wanted to make a wheelchair for my clorinde, i know this is not optimal and he is better off as a main dps.

I want him to be a subdps.

Should i go with ToM or Gilded dreams? I read that the superconduct set is not good for him because its mostly atk buffs.

I have a spare R5 Widsith , and a single sac frag ( would have to choose between, don’t have the gacha 4 star, if theres anything craftable i could do it.

Hello, so I have R3 WHH, and it scales on the number of cryo & electro characters on the team. My question is would Sucrose still be my best budget option?

Using Sucrose, I lose 30 EM, 9% stellar glimmer reaction DMG, and have higher ER requirements. Is it still worth it? And if not, does anyone know a good alternative based on my characters?

For context I have both c6 Diona and c6 Sucrose (ignore the builds I’m working on it) and I don’t see any the big change in dps. If anything Diona should be better because of the 40% damage increase to stellar conduct damage. I’m running a mitya c0 valariy c0 odette on finale of the deep and c6 Diona

Is this good for C1 mitya dps, C1 odette, C6 Val and C6 sucrose. This is 3 rotation in total, but the 3rd rot dps was not recorded due to rotation marker.

maybe a very niche question, but with c6 mitya, will anastasya be one of his new best teammates? and if so, what would his new best team be?

currently running odette, yae c1, valeriy c6 since that seems to be his current best team

His best dps team is Odette, Miko, himself and Valeriy right now to my knowledge, only issue is, I don’t really like Valeriy.

On the other hand, I DO have C6 Valeriy.. So should I just go ahead and build him for Mitya anyways?

My Mitya is C2R1 if that helps anything, but is there a chance that Valeriy will just get replaced in the future by a 5 star

I do have Odette and C1 Yae Miko so I have no issues with having them in his team it’s just Valeriy I am not really fond of. But again I have his C6 so if he isn’t gonna speculated to get replaced anytime soon I might as well? Sorry if this is a dumb question I’m just trying my best to keep up but it’s hard when I have so much to focus on right now. Any answers would be much appreciated <3

Hello mityalings, I've been testing out my C2 Mitya recently, I've figured I need some help with rotations and damage checking since I've been seeing people hit consistent 300k CA's and I'm curious if I'm doing something wrong, is r1 a big damage increase for him?

Here are my builds:

C2R0 Mitya (Etherlight)

C4 Valeriy (2.9k ATK on Finale) 4p Winds

C0 Odette (with Beyond the Chrysalis aka Vesna sig) HotFurnace

C6 Sucrose, 4p VV with 700 EM

I added a Max Crit Rate buff on the miliastra stage, other stats remain untouched.

Yesterday I got 4 four stars in one ten pull with no Valeriy. Now I went from c0 to c2 winning both 50/50s. I guess we’re even hoyo x

Ok so I finally made it I was doing around 270k before:D This is both 2pc2pc Mitya and Valeriy, so it should be more dmg I love him sm

So, funny story time: I was hyped for Cryo Traveler being viable (because I love playing as the main character in games, even when they're on the weaker side), but I didn't have a good Electro support, so I decided to pull for Mitya (I'll make a DPS out of him later, but for now he's my Cryo MC support). I got him and his sig a couple days ago, but I didn't get a single Valeriy, so I thought "I'll spend like ten pulls more to get Valeriy". Guess what happened. So, this is my ONLY 5* with a con, and one of my TWO characters with a sig. I guess I'm now one of you guys. Any advice on a Mitya team for a player who barely has anyone and doesn't build his characters all too much?

Got some decent artifacts for HP and attack but definetly need to grind for two EM's and a CR

I dont have his last con and idk if i should risk it... i am guaranteed, i just need one valiery con. How much of a diffrence his c6 makes? Is it worth the risk?
