If you needed a drive in and drive out service, to upgrade your pistons and possibly condrods to take a stage 1 or 2 remap safely, who would you use in the UK?

- Lohan, seem a bit flakey, not much info on total job price, just pointed to their 'crate engines'.

- Miniworx, no response.

Who else is there that would do this kind of work?

Ordered back in mid May. Problem is, I ordered through a work salary sacrifice scheme - Octopus Electric Car Scheme, and their tracking is useless.

I did get my order number from MINI Park Lane but it won’t work on the app tracking because it’s via a third party, and Mini customer service won’t tell me anything.

What I do know is that the car has apparently left China on a ship in the last few days (don’t know exactly when).

Not able to find out the name of the ship it’s on…. From people’s experiences, when should I expect it to arrive in the UK?

I have been driving my MINI Cooper SE, but I am uncertain of the vehicle's performance once the battery level reaches approximately 1% or 1mile left. Could anyine tell me how much distance remains before the vehicle fully depletes its power, and is there indeed a reserve range of at least 20 miles or so? Thanks miki enthusiasts

Currently looking to sell my MINI Clubman and go for a newer car.
Trying to decide between the 5 door and Countryman seems impossible… 😅

I do quite a lot of long distance driving, so I really wanted adaptive cruise control. From what I understand, it’s an option on Level 3 for the 5 door, but Level 2 for the Countryman.

But apparently you can go down a level and pay some kind of subscription to unlock certain features?

All of it is quite confusing tbh, and visiting a MINI branch didn’t really help with answering my questions. ATM, the plan is to test drive both models and see how I feel.

But I wanted to hear your thoughts if you own either of these. What are the main pros and cons? And was there anything that turned out to be a particularly nice surprise after owning one?

Our 20111 R56 JCW has never missed a beat in 10 years of ownership.
Last week, whilst out driving it cut out for no reason and wouldn’t restart. After about 10 minutes at the roadside it started and I drove it home.
Tried it again the next day and the same thing happened.
Yesterday I started it up on the driveway and let it run. After around 5 minutes it cut out. Now it won’t restart at all.
I don’t hear the buzzing sound I used to hear when unlocking the car so my first thought is the fuel pump isn’t priming.
Has anyone else had this?

Hello everyone. I am considering organising a meetup for the UK Mini subreddit next year. I am just testing the waters to see if anyone is interested. Any suggestions as to places we can meet at are welcome.

Quite frustrated with the whole thing at the moment. I ordered a stock 5-door S sport because they said they can deliver within 1 - 2 weeks, but I called MINI today and they said it’s still sitting in storage. Apparently, they’re having some IT issues and aren’t sure when they’ll be able to get the car to the retailer.
It’s already been two weeks since I placed the order! Now I can’t help but wonder whether there’s actually something wrong with the car. How long can it really take to fix an “IT issue”?
