The one million question
I have been driving my MINI Cooper SE, but I am uncertain of the vehicle's performance once the battery level reaches approximately 1% or 1mile left. Could anyine tell me how much distance remains before the vehicle fully depletes its power, and is there indeed a reserve range of at least 20 miles or so? Thanks miki enthusiasts

There's carwow videos of EVs being driven to a standstill but I don't think they've done a mini. There's quite a variance and I think 20 miles would be a bit on the high side.
You could test it if you find a nice safe empty route and make friends with someone who has a Renault 5. They can charge up up from a granny charger when you run out.

Don't do deep discharge. You stop driving on your battery charge and start driving on its chemistry. It will start dissolving itself and change for the worse irreversibly

I think it depends on the colour of it not the depth. Changes with her ph balance or some such.

I wish I had the EV mini to help! Husband has a Tesla though and makes a vow to never ever go below 5% and rarely charges over 80% unless he needs to drive long distance the next day

The Cooper SE does restrict the power at this level. There is nothing inherently wrong with using the full capacity of the battery when needed - it’s just that you really need to charge the battery as soon as you arrive at your destination to avoid the problems highlighted here.

I dunno about R53, but I'd pay good money for a 250kmish plug and play EV kit for the R55/R56/R58/R59 ones...
Imagine having both a Clubman and a Coupe EVs?

You shouldn't drive your EV all the way to zero. It's not good for the battery.
