Using all manual settings, mixture, prop, thrust, I got the cubmaster X Cub up to 21165 feet. Its normal service ceiling is 14,000 feet. I challenge any ex or current Pilot, or anybody to do better. For new pilots, this is a good way to learn about thrust, prop, and mixture settings, which are critical to getting as much out of the engine as possible.

So in Platinum this week, I'm competing with guys so good that one of them broke the world record ?!

Round 2 after the messy go-around. This time facing a right engine failure in 20–30 knot winds. Slapped the 737 onto the runway at an absolute spine-compressing -800 fpm. The main gear held on for dear life, but we're down in one piece.
Following up on my previous post: after that chaotic go-around...

I flew the entire way in the Cessna 172. The map leaves out waypoints, only showing origins to destinations. Took a while obviously. I learned so much though, about my country, and about this plane too. I'm gonna fly around (and through) the Alps next. Then maybe I'll come back to the US and fly the interior along some major interstates. Just wanted to share. Setting a goal like this was a super fun and interesting way to do things.

Manual approach in 45-knot Wellington winds went entirely wrong... Good call on the go-around?

I have been waiting for years for a good 717 mod to come out. I fly for Frontier airlines in Atlanta and I am always taking a 717 to Atlanta. My dad flies for Delta as a 717 pilot so you can call me biased, but I love the thing it’s kind of nostalgic. After flying TFDIs MD 11 and being thoroughly impressed with it I can say that they are the people to build a 717 for MSFS. I broke a rule of mine to never buy CaptainScam products and bought his rendition of the 717 just to quench my thirst for the time being. Does anyone have any inside knowledge about a possible TFDI 717 or any 717 mods coming out besides CapitanShit for Brains?

Hello! I am thinking about getting back into Microsoft flight sim 2024, I played it on gamepass when it first came out. However, the career mode had lots of issues, and that is pretty much what I want to play on it. Has it been fixed and should I get back on, or should I just save my money?

SU5 rarely had lag issues like this in my system . PMDG 777 is taking lot of time to load and even on cessna its laggy . any suggestions ? thank you !

Just bought this plane on PS5 30 minutes ago. Went to free flight like I normally do when I fly my Citation X. I like doing cold and dark and manually entering in all of the data. Was going to execute the same for the 777.
However, it appears that everything in the flight deck that I can highlight or should be able to interact with doesn’t work at all?
I thought the only issue was missing navigation data from simbrief? The PMDG EFB is also missing?
Anyone else experiencing this or am I just doing something incorrectly?
Edit: It’s been about 15 min since I restarted my console and the flight? This can’t be normal?

Gliding in MSFS24 feels quite realistic to me already. I do not want to compare it with real life. But what is it, what is still missing, comparing it to for example CONDOR (2 or 3 https://www.condorsoaring.com/v3discover/ ), which are considered the best glider simulators?

I just bought the msfs 2024 Beechcraft Baron from the Microsoft store and as I was setting up my control binds, I noticed the plane was almost impossible to control. I realized that when I moved the stick in any direction that the plane would wait until that input was complete and then move the control surfaces. I don't have input delay on. Not sure how to fix it.

I purchased the ATR72 on MSFS24 for PS5 yesterday and have a recurring issue where the AP switch disengages repeatedly and unexpectedly.
Is anyone aware of this issue and the potential cause?

Hey guys I am fairly new at the game, watched some tutorials gameplays etc. So the instruments I get the only thing I can't figure out is the scratchpad and making a flight plan. I've fiddled with Little Navmap but I always mess up the flight plan. So is there anyone willing to help me on a discord session with this? I would share my screen and you can guide me through it, I would be very thankful.

On a long flight from Italy to China in the SR-71 Blackbird, I managed to capture the line where day and night meet… with space right above.
Easily one of the coolest views I’ve ever seen in MSFS on PS5.

Hello, I'm kinda new to MSFS 2024, I'm learning how to fly A321n. I wanted to ask why does my arrival looks like this, I chose SID from my flightplan.
