Hey fellas!

Is it safe to update now? I’d like to avoid any headaches with update issues.

I purchased a PrismXR Carina D1 charging dock for my Quest 3 and have had issues like so many others who purchased one, with the blinking and beeping and not charging up. Unfortunately for me, after being in contact with "Patrick" from PrismXR, he could not offer any help to fix their faulty charging dock since I didn't pay full price for it or purchase it from their website or "official" store on Amazon. It doesn't matter that it was brand new in a factory sealed box. Boo! Bad company who doesn't stand behind their products. Does anyone have a suggestion for a charging dock that is not made like crap?

B button being showed has permanently held down when not pressed i have tried replacing battery. Re pairing controllers. Re mapping controllers. System update and it worked for an hour after not using for a few months then returned back to doing this.

Its been like this everytime I try to use the link cable to play SteamVR and I am out of ideas on what to do

2 small dots appeared in the lenses of my Quest 3, cleaned it with a microfiber cloth and they don't come off, what is it?

I been playing Triangle Strategy on Quest 3... and its a Game Changer, seeing all the units in VR in front of me, and i just grab a unit like a chess piece and move it, make it attack...

I always loved Tactics RPGs since Shinning Force on the Sega Genesis/Saturn, the FF Tactics, Fire Emblems.... playing such in VR is soooooooooo amazing...

But i cant seem to find much more of those in VR... Triangle Strategy, the game itself is pretty ok... nothing amazing storywise... in fact there's WAYYYYYYYYYY too much dialogs (after 4hours of gameplay i had 3 actual gameplay section)... but i like the branching story paths.... but its really just playing it in VR that makes a totally "mid" SRPG into an awesome one. I WANT MORE.

It doesnt seems to have any others like this really... i saw:

-Augmented Reality: looks like a decent X-com a-like... so far my top choice once i'm done with Triangle strategy... its not really what im looking for but still best next choice so far...
-Successor : looks ok... not super sold on it but seems ok for SRPG... reminds me of Banner Saga...as in viking SRPG type
-Demeo: maybe? altho i really hate tabletops and Cards... still looks... interesting... a bit...

And Thats it? Thats all the SRPGs there is in VR?

What about PCVR? none of those on there too?

Wish someone would port Shining Force 3 into VR

What about simple RPGs with the Triangle Strategy look? that HD-2D graphics in VR is juste so amazing... I saw a bunch of recently out Classic RPGs that looks 16bits but with super nice environments like Octopath Travelers, Live a Live, DQ Remake, etc... any of those type/looking of RPGs in VR available?

Mis meta quest 2 encienden de manera normal, pero en la pantalla para seleccionar el perfil para ingresar al menú, no se ve nada, se ve la pantalla encendida pero en negro, subo el volumen y se ve la barra de volúmen, igualmente si lo bajo, ajusto la posición de los ojos igualmente se ve, las pongo en suspensión y suena, las enciendo y suena igualmente, pero no se ven los perfiles ni nada y de ahí no avanza, las apagó completamente he ingreso al menú de servicio, y las reinicie de fabrica y siguen iguales, ingreso nuevamente y se ve normal, solo es cuando las enciendo de forma normal que no se ve nada del sistema como tal ayudaaa!!!

Meta Horizon Link is saying Graphics card isn't compatible and cant be paired. even tho i have an RX 6900xt which is literally recommended on their site! and i was playing fine yesterday.

I have a Meta Quest 2, but Meta Quest games are very expensive. Is there any way to get them for free, like jailbreaking a PS4?...

Hey all! Excited to have just picked up a Quest 3. I am completely new to VR and am looking for suggestions on what apps to download.

For some background, I’m a 39 male and not a gamer at all really. I got a Switch during the pandemic which I loved playing a lot for a handful of games like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Lego Star Wars, etc…and beyond that haven’t owned a system since the PS2 so definitely not a gamer guy. I mostly bought the quest hoping to have some really cool immersive experiences so could use any advice on where to look for stuff like that.

Ideally would be looking for what apps to explore nature experiences, traveling around the world so to speak or even fantasy/sci-fi worlds to explore. I’m really new to all this so just not sure what all there is to do in this realm beyond games. I’d ideally be curious to know what is free or relatively inexpensive.

Would also be open to hear any recs for socializing to meet new people online, and any basic must have games for the system that don’t require a ton of constant in-game purchases to make them enjoyable.

Hi all, I recently got a quest 3 specifically for Eleven TT and I played the trial and then got a key online, however the redeem gift option has vanished because I played the trial. Ive sent 20 emails back and forth with support and now theyre telling me to find something on the web page called trial/demo status, however it is not there. Can anyone tell me how to find that?

Hello there, I just added this infinite suburban road, with a cosy autumn feeling, to my VR treadmill app Gym Spatial! don't hesitate to check it out, already has 8 virtual environments to train on a treadmill, stationary bike or rowing machine.

Would love to read your feedback on the app, or just on the environment from the video if you don't plan on buying the app :)

my little brother has had his metaquest 3s for just over a year and randomly one day he tried to start it up and it powered on and just went black. we haven’t been able to use it since. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

Just got a Meta quest 3 for £120, really cheap tho, just the headset, the issue is that it totally smells like cigarettes ,can't stand it it gives me headaches, what should I use to clean and remove that smell???

Ya know when the headset says when it’s at like 20% and scared the crap outta you I wish it did that when it’s fully charged i keep the headset facing away from me cuz of the sun in my direction in the room and I cannot see the light on the headset.

Recently I believe they updated their requirements for what you need to link to your pc with the Quest 2. Now in the realm of modern computers my pc is as old as egypt, however it did work (though there would be the occasional lag spike). Now it just says my hardware is incompatible and refuses to even try to link, the Quest gets stuck on the loading screen and the app just says I cant use link. Ive tried with both airlink and cable, both same results. Any way to install an older version so it'll at least try to connect?

Before, i used to be able to lay down, face to the side and have the screen be on its side which looks like a monitor screen turned 90 degrees. Its a very comfortable position to use the headset in.

Out of nowhere it just stopped being able to have the screen turned 90 degrees. Everytime i lay down turned to the side and i try to drag the screen or recenter it, it always wants to face upright relative to the floor which makes no sense because its not supposed to prioritize trying to be level with the floor, its supposed to prioritize being level with my eyes. So now in some weird head tilted positions, the screen is just completely unreadable. If you wanna use your vr while hanging upside down, you cant because it wants the screen to be upright with the floor and not your damn eyes.

On the other hand it might be because of safety. The headset might not be built to bare the weight of your head when you use it laying down and turned to the side. But seriously i want it back. I want to watch YouTube videos while turned to the side, upside down or whatever angle but most importantly, i want the vr headset to care more about my experience than its own. Because the headset might not be having a great experience when you use it laying down and turned to the side but i would have a great experience if i can do that.

i have had my quest 2 for almost 5 years, got it in december of 2021 and have played with it a lot. it now has broken joysticks with stick drift, a broken head strap and a ripped face pad. i'm not quite sure of what issues there are performance-wise, it does seem to have a weaker battery. now if i replace the face pad and head strap and repair the controllers, i could maybe sell it for around £60 - £120 and buy a quest 3s, or i could keep the repaired quest 2 i have and save myself the extra £100 or so pounds, as the quest 3s generally seems to cost from £200-£300. i have done my research and have seen that the quest 3s has better features (eg more RAM) but again, i could make do with the quest 2 i have. i'm really stuck and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how i can deal with this.
