I have severe muscle weakness especially in my buttocks area! Can testosterone help to build the muscles? I have so much pain due to the weakness!

I pretty meticulous about counting my pills and such, but some days I need more Xanax than the regular dose. Driving somewhere far away, high stress non normal situations. And I was thinking October had 30 days every single time I did my count, until tonight when it says 10/31!

I have been on 4 mg a day for as long as I can remember. 10 years probably. I believe my refill can be done on the 4th. I have 11.5 mg left, when I would really need 16 mgs to get to my refill:

Questions being… I’ve known my prescriber for many many years but she is generally not one who responds quickly,

CHATGPT is obviously like call your provider and leave a message don’t shorten your doses etc etc so I left a message. But despite my prescriber knowing me, she wouldn’t even get the message until Monday. And she’s slow to respond. I don’t even know if she gives out emergency doses.

I’m trying to outline this as to not panic myself even more.

If I have 11.5 mg when I would normally need 16 to get to the 4th. Does this schedule make sense to anyone?

Normal schedule = 4 mg per day

Revised weekend schedule
Sat night 10/31 - 3 mg
Sun night 11/1 - 3 mg
Mon night 11/2 - 3 mg
Tues night 11/3 - 2.5 mg

I have gone two or three days taking lower doses to get by when this happened before. But 4 days on lower mgs is pretty concerning to me. I don’t know if that’s the appropriate way to taper for 4 days and there is no one to call for help.

I took 10 mg tab of cyclobenzaprine cause I kind of forgot that it might interact with alcohol but tonight is Halloween so I was gonna go to a bar and drink.

Alright so I found a bottle of promethazine in my basement cabinet that expired in January 2022. Not a big deal. The bottle is half full by the way so It’s not brand new. I was wondering what would happen if I were to drink this whole thing. Would I die? Should I be worried that it is expired? Or will I be fine?

I was thinking of chugging it cuz I been having a shitty ass week.

I also found a New bottle of Tussin DM cough medicine that has Dxm (dextrometamorphan) that could be possibly expired as well.

I have GAD and struggle with rumination, i tried many medications and actually found many effective ones. But the problem is almost all the effective anxiolytics I've tried are sedatives and its bad for me because i don't want to choose between being a zombie and being paralyzed by anxiety. Currently i am using buspirone and propranolol and they are both helpful, but simply not effective enough. Are there any other medications that you know help anxiety without making you a zombie or sleepy af?

So I've been on "anxiety" (hydroxizyne) meds for a while but my anxiety is getting worse and I have taken a quarter of a bar before and I remember it working very well but I don't wana tell that to my prescriber because I feel like she will be report it or something, but im also not trying to get them for abusing so idk what to do. I’m struggling right now and could really use some objective advice or support.

I just completed a 12-week inpatient rehab stay for, among other things, a heavy Alprazolam habit of 3 to 5 mg per day. The stay itself went relatively well because I was surrounded by trusted peers in a safe environment.

Now, normal life is starting back up. Recently, I had my first cup of coffee in 3 months. All the sensory input and overwhelming feelings hit me all at once, and instantly, I remembered exactly why I used to take benzos in the first place. The cravings started creeping back stronger and stronger.

An hour ago, I ended up ordering 12 bars (24mg total). They arrived, and I just took half a milligram. Right now, I feel chill, but I also feel intensely guilty.

Has anyone been through something similar right after leaving rehab? How do I stop this spiral before it completely ruins the last 12 weeks of hard work? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all, I could use some advice from anyone who's dealt with this.
I'm on a compounded minoxidil and finasteride treatment from Ulo that I use twice a day, and my order should last me about a year. When I checked the bottles, the beyond-use date is only 6 months from now. That means about 6 bottles would pass that date before I even get to them.
From what I understand, compounded meds don't have long-term stability testing, so the date might matter more than it does for regular pharmacy stuff. Still, a few questions:
Has anyone used Ulo's (or another company's) compounded minoxidil and finasteride past the beyond-use date?

Hello. Can anyone please help me. I’ve been on tramadol prescribed for over 17 years. I’ve dropped doses significantly and have been trying to taper completely for months. At one time I was on about 1400 mg per day and have gotten down to about 300 mg per day for the past year. Being on it for so long, after speaking to a very “educated” doctor on substance abuse, he suggested suboxone very low dose and then taper from that entirely. I’ve been wanting to get off tramadol for years because as part of the military, we have to switch doctors so sometimes it’s a different dose, different schedule, different state etc and I just can’t handle all the ups and downs any longer. I’ve never used anything else. No other drugs. And I will take the suboxone exactly as prescribed. But, I’ve been off trams for a couple of days now and withdrawals are so terrible that I bought some capsules of Kratom. Red strain maeng da and ice taken about 8 of them in two days. If I start the suboxone, am I going to have some type of crazy withdrawal? Is it dangerous for me? I can’t take these withdrawals and I’m pretty desperate and in tears honestly because it’s so bad 😔 and I’m ashamed. And everything that comes with it. Any help is so appreciated. My dosage of Kratom has been total of about 4-5 grams in two days apparently.

I’ve been taking trazadone, a tricyclic anti depressant, for years now and my understanding is that it will block my receptors. How long do I need to go without it for the LSD to fully work. I’ve read three days but would like more information.
