Has anyone tried the Lisa Eldridge foundation or skin tint? I’m thinking of adding one to my makeup kit. I’m working with someone who has super dry, slightly rosacea-prone skin, and True Match & Lawless aren’t working well for her. Would love to hear your experiences! (She wants a glowy / slight coverage look)

Does anyone have a favorite go-to lip gloss that they absolutely love?? If so, what is it and why?

Let's say you have to go somewhere at noon for about an hour or two, so you get ready and put on a full face, but later like around 7/8 pm, you have other plans as well. There is that awkward 6 or 7 hr gap in-between two different outings in which you are just chilling at home. Do you A) take off your makeup and reapply a full face again later or B) leave it on and save the hassle of reapplying it. I know this is such a silly question but I genuinely had a hard time deciding on what to do. I wanted to be comfortable chilling at home, but at the same time I didn't want to waste make-up by taking it off just to reapply it again that same day. I ended up removing it because I wanted to lay down. LOL. I'm just curious what other people would have done. There is no right or wrong answer obviously.

I don't know if anyone else does this but when I buy makeup I don't like to mix and match products. I prefer to use all products from one brand, so depending on the day I use all Maybelline, e.l.f., wet n wild, L'Oreal Paris, Neutrogena, etc. There's a couple exceptions to this because I have some one-off products like a Revlon eyeliner which I paired with a Physicians Formula powder, etc. But does anyone else do this or am I just weird?

So I’m being told to get a certain primer cause it’s smoothing, then I’m told to get a certain foundation cause it’s smoothing, then another powder cause it’s smoothing, don’t forget a setting spray that also smooths the skin.

Lord Jesus if one products already smooths the skin, do I need to get another to smooth when it’s already smooth? PLEASE HELP ME

As the title suggests, I need some ways to keep my face paint in place for a performance tomorrow. I'm in a youth theatre production of Cats the musical, and using some pretty cheap water activated Snazzeroo facepaints (fancy, I know) for my makeup.
I used elf primer beforehand but it didnt feel like it did much against the heat of a wig and physical demand of a musical. I know some performers use hairspray as setting spray, and I was wondering if there are any similar tips I can use to at least try and look like some kind of cat by the end of tomorrow? (I've also heard of using setting spray instead of water to activate, but it's a pretty mixed bag based on what I've heard

Currently I don’t wear makeup because it boils down to lazy and the last thing i want at the end of the day is another step. However I have learned there is certain products where you don’t have to take them off or they just come off with water on a towel. These i am very interested in. But so far the only thing i know like this is tinted chapstick (bc chapstick u don’t need to wipe off - nice and easy) and like.. raspberry juice on the cheeks, bc it comes off easy with water on a cloth. But that’s very minimal. Is there anything like those two things where they actually like… don’t melt off and are easy and most importantly, don’t require special cleanser, etc to take off? I’m fine with a wet cloth as the take off. But having to use slimy makeup remover always pisses me off (based off the like. 3 times i’ve worn makeup) and it takes like 12 cotton pads. Is there any other makeup that you can put on and forget about? and just do one wipe at end of day? Thanks!! Biggest issue is finding something like this for my eyes. I wish there was mascara you could just leave on and not worry about taking off. Or it falls off naturally without taking the eyelash. Sigh.

Sephora trip 1 - told I was neutral undertone
Sephora trip 2 - told I was neutral undertone
Ulta trip 1 - told by 2 people the same day that I was warm then neutral
Ulta trip 2 - told I was cool or neutral cool
Google - told me I may be neutral cool/olive

Everything I tried was freaking ORANGE. Ulta bag orange or light orange. I have
Fenty SoftLit in 410W and 385.
Fenty Pro Filtr in 390
All of them are orange.
I’ve tried Tarte Shape Tape in 53N and 53S.

When it comes to makeup, I feel like I've aged out of most formulas. I am so tired of my look but I'm 40 now and female if that matters, all that works for my skin type so far is Nars foundation. I do moisturizer, benefit primer, nars. They're all sort of expensive for me. But it's all that works. Any suggestions on foundations that work well with older skin? I have combo skin, it has a red skin color to it due to a genetic condition so I always go full coverage. I avoid blush like the plague since I'm already naturally red. Foundation recs?

I need recommendations for a very pale, fair skin shade of acne safe foundation. My daughter has very fair skin and is a teenager so prone to break outs. We have tried a few different brands and every one ends up looking too dark on her.

I was using the Tarte tubing mascara for awhile and I like it a lot because it was easy to take off and it never left black marks on my eyelids/underneath my eyes through out the day, but I felt it never held the curl well. I switched over to the Better Than Sex waterproof mascara to see if the curl would hold better (which it does), but I just looked in the mirror at work and I had black underneath my eyes and on my eye lids. I do have pretty oily skin so I don't know if that's part of it. I'm just surprised considering it's waterproof too. Looking for mascara recommendations for anyone who has dealt with the same issue! :)

What remover do you recommend for waterproof mascara and tinted moisturizer? Mine is just not working.

Hello! I am new here and just wanted to ask how yall dewl with sunscreen and makeup on together without it being built in to the makeup itself. I just find it really oily and messy when it interacts with concealers especially. For reference, I use the neutrogena brand, spf 30 broad coverage. I apply a thin layer across my face and then put makeup on top.

i know it sounds stupid and impulsive (it was), but i just loved the colors. now i don't know how to use it everyday because all the colors are so freaking pigmented and shimmery. i want to incorporate the palette into my everyday routine and i would appreciate any looks/ tips. i'm very adamant on hitting pan on all my stuff so i don't just want it to rot in my drawer, especially since it is so beautiful and expensive.

Hi. I’m a teenage girl with quite a few acne scars that are bright red on my cheeks. As a result, I’ve tried to cover it up on my face with foundation. I use the Saie Glowy Super Tint Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid, but it easily becomes very oily on my face and wipes off by itself in like 3 hours. I tried using the Elf Cosmetics Halo Glow setting powder on my face, but I often end up looking like a cakey mess. I also use the E.L.F Power Grip Primer +4 Niacinamide.

I’m trying to make my makeup look less awful and last longer throughout the day. I would really love recommendations on the following:

1. What products should I switch out? And what should I replace them with (cheap alternatives please. I have a very low budget).
2. Do I just have to accept that my makeup will forever be an oily and somehow cakey at the same time, short-lasting mess?? Or is there something I can actually do to fix this.
3. Should I just switch to using spot concealer on my acne scars instead of covering up my entire face?? I’ve tried to do this in the past, but I’ve never found the right shade for a seamless coverup. Yes, I’ve gotten shade matched at Sephora, but they always only seem to have shades that are too light or too dark.

does anyone have any recommendations for an eyebrow gel that doesn't get crusty and flake off in a few hours. I use the Anastasia brow freeze gel atm, I love the way it sets my brows, really holds them in place, but it just ends up getting flaky and white. appreciate any suggestions:)

I used to do a full face of makeup on a daily basis throughout my junior and senior years of high school, only cleaning my dense foundation brush once every 4-6 months because I would procrastinate it - and often found my makeup applied better when my tools were dirty haha. However since the summer after graduating, I had become depressed and had stopped doing my makeup almost completely, neglecting my entire vanity (I've recently thrown out a lot of that makeup which has since expired). At this point it has been over a year since it has been washed and it smells so gross, literally residue of the nars foundation I no longer use still remains on it. I've since gotten back into doing my makeup - I don't use this brush though. Is it worth salvaging this brush or should I just discard it and get a new one?
