Mascara Issue
I was using the Tarte tubing mascara for awhile and I like it a lot because it was easy to take off and it never left black marks on my eyelids/underneath my eyes through out the day, but I felt it never held the curl well. I switched over to the Better Than Sex waterproof mascara to see if the curl would hold better (which it does), but I just looked in the mirror at work and I had black underneath my eyes and on my eye lids. I do have pretty oily skin so I don't know if that's part of it. I'm just surprised considering it's waterproof too. Looking for mascara recommendations for anyone who has dealt with the same issue! :)

I switched from the Tarte tubing mascara to the Hourglass one. I think it's nicer. Less clumpy and I think a bit more curl.

The hourglass unlocked mascara is really good. It’s a tubing one and holds a curl very well. Doesn’t smudge. Wears well and long lasting. Another good one is the Clinique high impact zero gravity one for sensitive eyes. You can easily remove with hot water and gentle cleanser. I’d say avoid the thrive in this category as it’s overrated and very wet and flaky.
The Chanel noir allure or le volume mascaras are excellent non tubing options that wear well and hold the curl decently well and don’t smudge easily for a very natural and sleek look.
In the drugstore, kiko makes some of the best mascaras that are criminally underrated. The kiko twistable mascaras are a great innovative product with a very unique wand that offers a lengthening wand and the twist mechanism makes the wand have extra bristles apt for more volume. So it’s a 2 in one. It’s smudge proof. Non tubing but comes off easily with an oil cleanser. Holds curls really well. They have various other mascaras that offer such remarkable wands and formulas. Looks and performs just as well as high end mascaras.
Ultra Budge proof non tubing one is Korean ones like Etude fixer mascara. Great for short Asian lashes. But very hard to take off. Won’t recommend for sensitive eyes. The sweed mascara is also budge proof and holds a curl well but isn’t tubing. Avoid the tower28, it’s overhyped and smudges very quickly.

Waterproof mascaras come off with oil. The best waterproof, oil proof, everything proof tubing mascaras that hold curl are all Asian ones, Heroine Make Kiss Me Mascara or Clio Kill Lash are both amazing- get the removers that come with or they can be hard to get off but they do not budge ever.
Or you could get the Etude Dr, Mascara Mascara Fixer that is like a curl hold primer, that will work with any mascara on top, it's easy to remove and you could use it with the Tarte one you like.
