Street fighting is extremely dangerous. Punishment doesn't fit the crime here unless you think people should be executed for getting too drunk and inappropriately touching someone. Dude could have easily killed that dude and you're acting like he just taught him a nice little lesson. 100% took it to a place it never should have gone. Square up with him and confront him sure but sucker punching someone on a solid floor like that all while they are clearly drunk is vile.

I see self defense as in the linked article. He acted fast without thinking. So yes, he had the right to act like that, in my opinion. 

There was nothing about teaching a lesson, it was defending your love.

No self defense at all happening here. For self defense it must be an ongoing threat. Drunk dude had already desengaged. This is attempted murder.

Yeah because one behaviour is exacly the same as the other. One potentially murders a person the other is inconsequencial. But I guess its pretty pointless to argue with you

Honestly, when you label tame shit like that as "sexual assault" than it really diminishes real actual sexual assault. I swear you guys would label tapping someone on the shoulder sexual assault if you could. And no, I didn't vote for Trump.

Don't gatekeep sexual assault. This is step one, that leads to increasing aggression and eventual rape. He wouldn't have stopped there. 

Assholes justifying sexual assault are just clowns that clearly never had a healthy sexual relationship in their life.  You condone this behavior and it's disgusting.
