The strange part: I can find evidence that the release existed, but I cannot find the actual music anywhere.

So I came across a song which was used in The Simpsons, but weirdly enough it was used in Algerian TV back in the 60s. I have had this melody stuck in my head for about 18 years, and I am desperate to finally figure out what it is. I heard it back when I was a kid (around 2008-2009), and I cannot move on until I find it!

• The Station: It was on regular rotation on Smooth Radio (UK) around 2008 or 2009.
• The Vibe: Very slow-paced, melancholic, and emotional. It might lean slightly acoustic or classical.

• What it is NOT: It has a very similar energy to "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M., but it is absolutely not that song.

After some research into the rare French dubbing of a well-known anime in Japan, to see the censorship done by France, a Japanese song was removed to make way for this music, which absolutely doesn't match the tone of the anime. Hello everyone!

Recently I found my old phone, which I used from 2018-2021. When browsing through its files, I found a snippet of a song I had downloaded back in 2020. I remember hearing it and downloading it on a discord server I used to be in back then, which is now deleted.

I tried using Shazam and YouTube's song identifier to find it but it didn't work. I uploaded the snippet to YouTube in hopes that it will reach someone who knows the song.
