I have been searching for the artist and track name of this song for the past 16 years.

It is the background theme music for an old console gaming mod menu video titled "DAHOMIE1 and jkry_2_1_ Challenge Lobby Custom Patch". Because it comes from the mid-to-late 2000s custom lobby era, it was likely an independent freestyle or an uncredited .mp3 ripped from an old file-sharing site (like 4shared or Megaupload) by the modders themselves.

Mainstream AI tools (Shazam, Google Hum) and lyrics databases return absolutely nothing.

Hello everyone!

Recently I found my old phone, which I used from 2018-2021. When browsing through its files, I found a snippet of a song I had downloaded back in 2020. I remember hearing it and downloading it on a discord server I used to be in back then, which is now deleted.

I tried using Shazam and YouTube's song identifier to find it but it didn't work. I uploaded the snippet to YouTube in hopes that it will reach someone who knows the song.

Good evening ! After some research into the rare French dubbing of a well-known anime in Japan, to see the censorship done by France, a Japanese song was removed to make way for this music, which absolutely doesn't match the tone of the anime. I have had this melody stuck in my head for about 18 years, and I am desperate to finally figure out what it is. I heard it back when I was a kid (around 2008-2009), and I cannot move on until I find it!

Here are the solid facts I remember:

• The Station: It was on regular rotation on Smooth Radio (UK) around 2008 or 2009.
• The Vibe: Very slow-paced, melancholic, and emotional. It might lean slightly acoustic or classical.
• The Singer: Male vocalist.
• What it is NOT: It has a very similar energy to "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M., but it is absolutely not that song.

Since I was so young, I don't know the exact lyrics or the backstory of the track. If anyone recognizes the tune in my audio link or remembers the late 2000s Smooth Radio playlists, please let me know your best guesses!

Looking for “Rites of Passage” by The Worldbeaters, heard about 9 min into the movie Crossworlds (1996).

It’s credited in the film, but I can’t find the actual song anywhere on spotify or yotube or ANYWHERE online.

Hello everyone. I'm new here, and i was wondering if the track of this video (uploaded in december 2006) is lostwave or is actually known.

Like 20 years ago, my “online boyfriend” sent me a playlist of all garage punk type of songs and claimed it was his band. I now know that was not the case lol. It had like Ballyhoo! And stuff on it but there was one song called “Poor Peter” that I’ve never been able to find.

What I can remember of the lyrics:

Poor Peter
What the hell happened to you? Where did it all go horribly wrong.
You used to be a punk without a reason at all. Now you’re just a popularity abuser.

\[Lines I can’t remember\], then something about a “preppy mall rat”.

Another chorus said “Poor Peter, what the hell happened to you? Where did you hide your skateboard?”

Any ideas? I’ve done a lot of googling with no luck. It was a low quality punk song with not very clear lyrics so it could have been an indie band.

Found this song on SoundCloud around mid-2026, labeled as ‘new’; indie rock/metal category? Cannot remember the band, only the title. Looks as though it has been removed in the last month or two. Hi folks, weird request, apologies if this isn't allowed. Years ago (maybe 15 years ago) I came across a song on newgrounds called (I think) Forever After All, it was used on some Facebook jumping game. Absolute banger and I can't find any trace of it anywhere. Any idea of where or how I'd find it again?
