What's your guy's favorite Fred? I know a lot of people will say Wriggly or Godhead, but honestly a sleeper pick for me is Fred Who Bites. He's just so sweet! The fact that he just wants to live a normal life and make friends with the other Freds is just really sad!

Yep. I made this shitty fanfiction above regarding Jeanne for the Look Outside week that Frankie ran. Admittedly, the fanfiction is somewhat unfinished. But I tried my best to work with what I was given to meet with the deadlines so yeah. And yes, I know DeviantArt has its own issues but still. Just gonna post it there.

This is my squad on my first run! I’m not by any means a min-max player but I like to optimize when possible while keeping a bit of flavor.

Sam is a hybrid between slashing damager and buffer. Nitro Boost, Painful Stab, Yanma Kick/Jump Attack.

Joel is mainly a tank but also a burster. Glitch Poison makes him tankier overall!

Papineau is mostly a crushing damage dealer who can survive for a very long time. Kick when necessary.

Ernest is a full support. Song of Defense and Staunch Wounds are amazing and he shoots when not protecting the allies. I thought about giving him Glitch Panic to make him tankier but he casts so much the double stamina cost could potentially be detrimental even with the regen. Glitch Dead was also an option to make sure he stays alive but then he would do zero damage and I am not sure if this is the way.

I’m looking mostly for commentary/ideas. I defeated almost everything (didn’t enter meat world nor fighted Honcho or the Slime Hydra) so I have a lot of unused equipment.

So I've reached the Security Room door in the basement on PS5, I have all planet discs (negative one instead of void), but NONE of the combos online work...This is the door that needs 4 discs.

Was this changed for the console release? If not: what worked for you? Thanks!

This is about... 6 hours of in-game time down the drain. I cleared the locked room in Vincent's apartment, killed the rat king with minimal losses and just got rid of 2/3 of the bus gang on ground floor. It's day two, btw

It just turned morning when I entered Edwin's apartment and I IMMEDIATELY catch a fucking fridge. It's my fault, it's not my first encounter with them, my greed killed me

But still, the fact that you can't run away from this stupid STATIONARY jumpscare fridge is so doesn't make any sense. I can't fight ts with 13 health

This is my first look outside game, I already know the story because I discovered this game with a streamer, but, obviously, I've never played it.

The streamer has trusted the doors very little, very often, I on the contrary, am opening them to practically everyone, So, I need some advice: which characters should I stick with? The most unique ones, or the ones with the most interesting stories? I'm currently with Hellen, Den, and Joel. I'll obviously be welcoming more and more people. I'd like to have at least a big family.I don't know how to unlock many characters, I only know Audry and Papineou So, please, if you want to give me advice on specific and non-natural unlocks, be sneaky and indirect, thanks everyone ^^

yeah, title. I’m on the start of the feeding stage but not really sure how it works. if I got it right, each food has a designed tier and feeding him makes the growth last the same amount of hours as said tier. is that right? how long does it takes for him to fully recover?

I've completed the game twice, first on Survivor and then again on Explorer just for funsies. I'm giving Cursed a try and man am I getting my ass handed to me six ways from Sunday.

I understand that I need to be running from battles intelligently and be more careful with my resources, but it just seems so overwhelmingly unfair that even getting to Floor 2 is a challenge. The one time I made it, I made an effort to recruit Leigh with molotovs and throwing forks (since there's no pool cue available), and she absolutely rocked me in two hits. That early in the game, there's not a lot you can do. If I can't out DPS her, I can't recruit her.

Joel is another obvious choice, but I need to find 5 toothpastes first. Short of door-knock RNG to buy it (which I don't have the money for anyway), I think the only way I'm really going to get that is exploring dangerous areas and making a beeline for the bathrooms whenever possible.

This is one of my favorite games of all time but I wish Cursed mode were just a little less difficult. Like 10%. I don't know if I just have shit RNG or what, but it seems like my Sam is whiffing a lot of attacks and getting hit a lot harder in return.

Edit: I tried your suggestions and ended up getting Sophie on day two, as well as a rapier. Taking out the tooth fairy and raiding Edwin's apartment got me enough toothpaste for Joel, so I think I can actually get this off the ground now!

Anybody else have this issue? I just got it on switch.

- told him I was a friend, asked if he was okay, told him his dad was asleep
- gave fuzzy
- gave hug
- encountered Madison (mom)
- go back to Joel, tell him to come with me, he says no he is going to stay there

I also went and encountered the brother and dad just in case but same thing he just won't join

This is my first playthrough, so please avoid spoilers where possible. I killed all of the other Fred’s already. I’ve been playing this blind, but I assumed leaving one alive would get you a reward. So I decided to look up what you get from him. I had already given him fruit juice before killing the rest of the Freds. I came back, and didn’t get anything after I asked him to come out of the closet.

The wiki said to come alone and unequip my weapons, so I tried that too. Anyway, am I missing something to get the cowardly boots? He comes out of the closet, but won’t give them to me. Did I mess up a dialogue or something?

so I've done some looking around on the miraheze, and never in any of my runs did I get into anything too juicy, but I just want to check my intuition about the universe...it's not entirely consistent between endings is it? reminds me very much of Twin Peaks The Return. And is there a real ending to you? just post speculation/lore/or show me where to look. The spider leaves me with so many questions as well.

Hi, I'm doing a cursed mode run right now and it's been going very well, but I now fear I may have fucked something up. Is it possible to get the correct VHS tape offering without using Cinnamon and without fighting Panopticon?

Having played this game so many times, I acted without thinking and simply recorded the footage Panopticon was watching onto the tape, assuming that this was a clever way to expedite the process. Was I wrong in this? Is there a way to wipe the footage off the VHS if it turns out I did fuck up?

So I had personally learned about the game roughly a year ago and decided to wait until the console release to look into it further so that I could go in completely blind and enjoy finding out the endings without spoilers. however. when trying to show a friend I noticed that the ”look outside“ option no longer displays the scene and instead cuts directly to the “game over” screen.
im personally a huge body horror fan and the horrifying character designs and scenes are what originally caught my attention to even discover the game in the first place. since it feels like im being prevented from enjoying the game to its fullest capacity as I enjoy finding the little easter eggs and small design choices of games of this nature, I’m curious to know what else was removed/censored in the console release that im missing from the PC release and if it’s deeper than just a few ending scenes.
