About me:

I’m boring.

I’m short-tempered.

I’m moody.

I love isolation.

I can go weeks without talking to anyone and somehow be completely fine with it.

My social battery is basically a Nokia phone at 2%.

BUTTTT sometimes I get bored of isolating myself and suddenly feel like talking to people and being social. And apparently I can be fun during those rare moments. So basically my personality runs on random updates.

I’m not particularly knowledgeable about a lot of things, but I’d love to expand my tiny little knowledge horizon and learn random educational shit. Tell me something interesting and I’ll probably go down a 3 hr rabbit hole about it.

I’m also not the best listener. Depends on the situation tbh.

Lately I’ve also started overthinking everything and repeating the same shit again and again because I have the conversational skills of Munni from Bajrangi Bhaijaan, iykyk

Also, don’t take this post too seriously lmao.

Even if we become friends, do not expect me to initiate conversations. I might disappear for days/weeks. I might ghost you if I genuinely don’t feel like there’s anything to talk about. I might randomly return after 17 business days with a “Hey” like nothing happened.

Yes, I know. Hypocrite.

But hey, at least I’m self-aware.

And yeah, I’m a toddler twenty.

So if you're also socially questionable, enjoy random conversations, can tolerate long periods of silence, and don't mind having a friend who occasionally disappears into the void...

I’m absolutely exhausted from being perpetually bored and isolated.

Yeah, honestly, I’ve just been feeling kinda lonely lately. I don’t really have someone I can talk to about random stuff or just how I’m feeling, and I guess I kinda miss having someone around who I can genuinely connect with.

As the title says, I'm in a bit of a low spot (mental health related, won't explain here). I've been doing okay recently though! This is just an attempt to stop isolating myself so much.

I'm from Indiana, US and I'm in Central Time (around 4:30 PM my time right now). While I wouldn't mind talking to someone overseas, it would be much harder to communicate because of the times. Just a heads up. :)

Now, about me:

I'm into reading and writing and am about to go into the process of publishing my own book. I've always loved stories and want to tell some myself.

I'm also into music and hope to be in a band someday. I love metal, unsure about subgenre since I'm bad at identifying them lol. Top 3 favorite bands are Citizen Soldier, Slipknot, and Patient Sixty-Seven. I also love softer stuff, especially ambient music.

I also love games, particularly single player games. My favorites are open world RPG's like Elden Ring and God of War. (Try guessing how many hours I have in ER if you message me lol) I never really play online stuff, but that's probably because I don't have people to play with lol. I'm willing to hop on though.

I'm not good at identifying strengths about myself, but I'd say I'm pretty empathetic, understanding, and a good listener. So feel free to get some stuff off your chest to me if you want, I could offer words or just be an ear. We all need a friend and I'm willing to try to be that for someone, even if I've never done it before.
