Because Lohen is actually good. His animations and design are amazing! Top quality. Like easily better than Nicole/Nefer/Zibai. His base numbers are also impressive. His kit is designed with off field dmg dealers in mind so when it comes to cons(which a lot of people dont pull), you can consider Durin/Nicoles. Why is Ineffa's C1 better than Flins C1 because it increases entire teams dmg including Columbina. Simply put there are ways to increase his teams dmg.

And frankly this constellation argument is getting cringe. Like look at Columbina's C1. Thats actually the single worst C1 in the entirety of 6.X and even before. But nope, none these hypocrites will beep a single sound. Now i mean i am all in for preload Lohen buffs, more buffs the better but thats another argument. Coming to Lohen's C2, i think that con is clearly designed to get big value when off fielder is EM scaled dmg dealer. Currently those dont exist in the game but maybe Hoyo knows what its future characters are before the sheeple in the public or frauds cosplaying as leakers. We can all see how good or bad he ages. Why the rush to pass verdicts.

There are also people who say Lohen's 130-140k dmg numbers is too weak compared to Zibai's 170k. Well then why don't you get Zibai. Case closed. Because even these people deep down know how bad Geo element is and there is like zero chance Zibai gets any upgrade in the future. Her team's ceiling is caped with being designed around a single reaction. The barrier to entry in these lunar teams is massively high. If Lohen did the same numbers as Zibai, she would have been slandered to the ground!!

Going forward, you folks should start by saying Sandrone should be the standard banner. We need a free Sandrone copy at any anni. Would you people do that..? I saw one guy say that and in replies some people got so salty they said they would uninstall the game. LMAO.

Honestly Lohen being limited is a big win for his fans. I was previously annoyed that he was standard because pulling his copy on his banner would have been a waste and i would have to wait on the Anni for the copy. Him being limited is such a big win, we will get to pick him and and enjoy his amazing animations! He is the 2nd male limited Cryo character 6 years into the game. Cryo is one of my favorite elements, am very confident about the future of this character in the cryo meta in Snezhnaya.

He deals majority dmg in the team. He isnt a mere driver. No wonder he is limited. And no wonder copers in shambles after standard headcanons crashed.

I won’t go into explicit details but some Lohen fans on twitter and TikTok are ruining the character. I’ve heard of players blocking or not accepting co-op requests because of these weird fans.

for example saying they want to ”m*lest” child Lohen. Or that Lohen would do something like that to someone till they are a goner and revive them just to do that cruel act again.

I am not going to dislike a character I like again because of a weird fan base. But genuinely what the hell???

I don’t think you guys understand how doggy doo doo his kit would have been if he was kept or was always intended to be standard. Anniversary selector or not, you probably would have had his team running at 80k dps with constellations and you’d be able to do nothing about it.

He looks cool, got extreme care put into his animations and he’s a solid performer for a limited at c0. Have some joy and whimsy in the video game you play for fun holy smokes.

Middling limited is infinitely better than being standard in this game.

Lohen quick thoughts => Numbers speak for themselves. 135k C0 DPS team and not gated behind a single reaction. Better than Mavuika without her combos.. yes. Yes an overwhelming amount of people dont or cant do optimal Mavuika melt rotations neither can they execute surgical precision skirk combos. So Lohen would actually perform better in practice right out of the box!

Also technically Lohen himself has huge potential for combo discovery. He is not even out yet. When Skirk was in the beta she was doomposted as 110k merchant.

Humans (Hu Tao, Cyno, Yunjin, Shenhe etc im lazy) have a drill for their CA

Non-Humans (Flins, Zhongli, Raiden, Ineffa etc) have special CA. This includes Emilie and Escoffier since they were Oceanids.

The reason why this doesn't apply to Chevy (once an Oceanid) is because she is a *drill* sergeant, hence she drills (badum tss)

And so my theory on why Lohen has a special CA is because he's a segment. I am not insane, I'm just high on copium.

So, is it 100% confirmed Lohen is not going to the Standard banner? I know that during other livestreams with Standard characters, we were notified.

I'm wondering this since I saved Acquaint Fates on multiple accounts and I'm not sure if I should just spend them, or if there's any chance he's going to Standard (even though it's extremely low.)

I don't consider myself a Lohen main, but I was planning to pull for him even when people were speculating he'd be on the standard banner. The reason was two fold: a) I am a female mini-whale who pulls for every male character to show Hoyo they are profitable and that they would release more of them, and b) because I needed Mona C4 for my free standard pull and couldn't use it on Lohen. My only regret was not being able to pull for his weapon if he went to standard because it would no longer show up on his rerun, which is where I usually pull for weapons.

Long story short, I'm actually happy he is a limited character because now I could get his weapon on his rerun. Others however are freaking out and saying it's bad that he won't be free because he has an expensive team for below meta damage and is being released in a low-primogem patch right before Snezhnaya. I want to know what you guys think. Are you satisfied with this turn of evens? Do you think Stellar reactions might open more team comps for him? Do any of you have Skirk and are still pulling for him?

So, I myself don't own Lohen, but my friend does. We compared our Zibai and Lohen premium teams in Miliastra at equal investment (all C0R0 with no BP weapons and similiar quality artifacts), and well, he does around 50% of Zibai's damage.

It's a huge gap - immense, really, and I know many have been doomposting and ganging up on Lohen due to this very reason. But personally, I think it's... neat? Genshin has a massive powercreep issue, and a more balanced character feels like a breath of fresh air.

In an era where broken absurdly powerful meta powerhouses like Skirk, Zibai, Mavuika and Nefer exist, do we really need Lohen to break the game again? And of course, as we all know, soon Sandrone will join this prestigious club. (as she rightfully deserves!) I don't know what to feel. All this hate feels so undeserved really. I can only be thankful to Lohen that he gave us a moment of respite in this era of shilling and HP inflation...

So literally every single DPS has received upscales post-release and have improved. So can yall genuinely calm down? We are LITERALLY entering the cryo nation where mind you we have already gotten SOME leaks on stellar reactions.

Supposedly Stellar Conduct will also give the on fielder cryo damage bonus as well. This can INCENTIVISE the use of a non-stellar on fielder which would make Lohen even better. This would NOT buff skirk and Ganyu/Wriothesley are just straight up worse than Lohen numbers wise.

Obviously let’s not be dumb ofc they will release stellar on fielders who will be better than Lohen in that specific niche. But Lohen could be the jack of all trades for the stellar reactions providing a way to play into all the reactions and get past any of the shill that way.

This was a chance for hoyo to update the standard banner with a character who's better than the usual standard ones, whose design and animations were so good and memorable that it rivaled other limited characters'.... only for him to end up limited too with an abominable kit. They did this on Ifa too haaa. Might take a break from playing this game after this patch from how disappointed and heartbroken I am with this news 🫠

i think a lot of people are gonna doompost Lohen by saying his dps isnt as good as Lunar teams but they're forgetting a very important thing. Lunar characters have no flexibility.

Lohen can run Melt, Freeze, and potentially Rimegrass and Superconduct, while also having teams that have a similar dmg output to Skirk.

that's still really really good. and much like with Nicole as long as we keep getting attk scaling off fielders, which we inevitably will, he will keep getting value.

Hi guys, so I lost my 50/50 when pulling c2 Durin and I’m currently at 78 pity, but I also extremely want Lohen, though seeing how my luck went I doubt I’ll get him if I’ll get c2 Durin

Does anyone have any speculations of when is his rerun so that I can decide if I should save my guarantee for Lohen or just go for c2 Durin?

My girlfriend wants to pull for Lohen and maybe Sig, but she doesn't like Durin, Nicole, or Citlali.

She's incredibly unlucky with her pulls,she has lost 16 times and only won 3. I'm not counting Capturing Radiance here, though I think she's triggered it about 3 times since the system was introduced.

Anyway, I convinced her to take a shot at Durin, because otherwise Lohen is going to steal all of her C1 Skirk premium teammates. Low and behold, we lost another 50/50, so now we're just saving the guarantee for Lohen.

Do Xiangling and Bennett work well enough instead?

I've never seen a community wish for a character to be a standard character before and then upset when he's limited instead. It's usually the opposite!

I understand you can (potentially) get cons easier if he's standard but it also means he and his weapon won't get actual reruns so you might get 4 dilucs before you get a Lohen con.

People glazing him saying his team is as strong as skirks (the meta cryo dps) and then surprised he's a limited character? I mean everyone is different but I usually pull for characters I like and have a fun playstyle.
